Really nice setup. The tent was very large, and the bed super comfortable. Dinner was of really good quality. Breakfast was buffet style, and acceptable. The one thing I want to vote down is the fact that we were left out of water to shower because all the guests did so before us. Tents do not have their own water supply, it seems to be shared, throughout the camp, which would be fine with me if there was a sort of control to its consumption. Two days in a row not being able to shower (or wash our teeth) because we were the eldest and latest risers is NOT OK.

Beds like slabs of concrete with sheets that are too small for bed. One USB port for whole room, no outlets. No AC (which is understandable), but not even a ceiling fan. Handheld shower nozzle with weak stream and tepid water at best. Food is cold and tasteless. Wait staff is barely acceptable, but they were kowtowing to a table of very loud Spaniards, and we got minimal service. A smile from them can only go so far. The camp’s roadside greeting place in town (where you wait to get the camel or 4x4 into camp) has a riad and a pool area. After a day of touring the surrounding towns, we were told a Jeep would drive us back to camp soon. We waited an hour and fifteen minutes before we started inquiring. A very rude employee whose name I didn’t get said that it only takes us 15 minutes to get to camp but it takes the camel people an hour and a half which didn’t make any sense to me because we were there before them either way. Do not recommend.

Camp was gorgeous! Private tent with king size bed, toilet and shower. The temperature didn't drop over night so it is hot still, and the ride to and from the camp is about 1.5 hours We were told the turbans were necessary, they aren't particularly there were people who didn't bother. Brilliant over night camp - try stargazing at 1 am! Can see many constellations.

Stayed one night with our tour group. For accommodation described as luxurious I would have thought that some type of cooling such as a fan might have been provided. Even our Moroccan tour guide commented that there should be fans in the tents. It was extremely hot the afternoon we arrived so our supposedly luxury tents were very hot and stuffy and too uncomfortable for a restful sleep. My tent did have its own private bathroom facilities. Based on my experience I would not recommend this accommodation.

We stayed at the camp as part of an organized tour. It was fantastic to ride a camel which we rode to the camp. Once at camp we were informed that the upgraded rooms we booked we were not available. Our booking was for a private shower in each tent. Instead we got private tents with a communal shower and toilets for about 25 people. Shower had no amenities like soap or shampoo although a towel was provided. The food was so-so. Expect tomato soup, tagine, and an orange for dessert which is the same thing you’ll be eating at every restaurant in every restaurant in Morocco. The nights are very cold in Dec and we wore multiple layers to go to bed. No heat in the tents, no extra blankets available on site. The entertainment was someone beating a drum into the early hours of the morning. We took everything in stride considering that we were in the middle of nowhere.

While the room was comfortable enough, we found the experience to be too commercial for us. We took a camel ride to the camp and while my husband and I were by oursleves we travelled in a caravan of about 15 people. The desert itself while looks beautiful you only touch a section of it so can always see town / camps and the desert has a mixture of a lot of people on camels, ATVs, 4x4’s racing around. If you like biking and sand boarding and commercial spots with lots of activities this would be more to your liking. Similar to other reviews I’ve seen, the staff were nice enough but did get the sense they’re there to create a party vibe for big groups. The food was average and strangely enough while it’s an all inclusive type package things like water you need to pay for. Breakfast was very rushed in the morning and we were left a bit confused with no clear instruction of departure time. The rooms were comfortable but the water was luke warm so just a warning in the cold winter months. Tents are very close together and though we had a luxury camp with a private bathroom, privacy is a luxury here. The icing on the cake for us was when we went back to main hotel in the morning and while we were waiting for our transfer we tried to get a cup of coffee that we were happy to pay for and the waiter was really rude to us brushing us off twice with a “I’m busy”. Would recommend this company if you’re young, big group and looking for some commercial fun otherwise would suggest exploring other options.

Initial reception at this desert camp this evening was not good, particularly after staying in a Riad at Fes where the service was excellent, and their front office was very friendly. It was a disappointing experience so far at the time of checking in after a sunset camel ride on a cold evening. Hope will have a better experience before check out tomorrow morning after resting in a warm environment. This set up is not geared or has any clue on service for world travelers.
