Trucking and the off-road trip was a great experience for me and family . Good hospitality and neatness are remarkable. Bamboo cooking and dance of chellappan chettan and his guidance in trucking is to be specially mentioned. We will recommend ‘maram’ to all.

Everything about the resort was wonderful, hospitality requires 5 stars. I can’t thank them enough for all that did to make us comfortable. I’ll surely recommend the place to others and would love to go again. Food, staff, sightseeing was worth it all.

Stay was excellent.. Food rates at hotel are overpriced compared to the taste and variety. Rooms needs a bit of maintenance (there was seepage on the ceiling. The entry to the resort from the gate to the reception is a Herculean task, needs attention

Resort in dense forest...calm and serene ...best suits for a staycation ...they have indoor games, swimming pool, jaccuzi room for each villa...try to reach the property before 5 PM, else you may encounter elephants on the way to resort...you may not have mobile coverage on this way and is an isolated way...Try to reach the property through 6 th mile...this road is relatively good... don't reach there with the directions by Google map..

My travel experiences to India are very adventurous. My husband and I managed to always find the most interesting and beautiful places to visit. I will have to say that my husband surprised me with Maram Resort as one of the most exquisite ones yet. We were celebrating our Wedding Anniversary, and he kept me in the dark our whole way up the mountain. I will warn you the drive is a little nerve wrecking and made me second guess my husband’s choice of the resort. But once we reached it was well worth it. The view was incredible and the staff was very accommodating in making sure we were taken care of. We received a welcome drink and a cute handmade cardamom necklace on our arrival. My husband had made arrangements with the staff before hand to decorate the room for our Anniversary. When I walked in, there was a candle light path of roses throughout the bedroom and a beautiful design on the bed. The staff had done a fabulous job of helping us celebrate such a special moment in our lives. The view of our room was breathtaking. Going up to the second level I loved the standalone tub with the Mountain View. I was happy that we had brought ***** a bottle of wine so that we could enjoy a nice long bath to help us relax and take in this moment. Later that evening, we were entertained by a tribal cooking demonstration that was both amusing and delightful. I was worried because I don’t like spicy food, that I wouldn’t be able to eat such a concoction, but it was actually very good. We walked back to our room to get ready for dinner, when my husband surprised me with a candle lit dinner on the rooftop. Again the staff exceeded all our expectations, on such an elegant and romantic candle lit dinner. It was perfect ! As many resorts as my husband and I have visited in India, Maram Resort stands out in its quality of service and natural beauty by far as one of the best. Our experience at Maram Resort is one that we will cherish and remember for years to come. Thank you Mr. Sheen and your staff for helping us celebrate such a wonderful moment in our lives. We will definitely be back again soon.

This is one of the best forest resort me and my wife have stayed at in Kerala. It's a resort not everyone knows about as it falls under Ernakulam district but on the outskirts in the forest hidden away. The staff are courteous and the hospitality is exceptional. Mr.Sheen - the Manager was very helpful from the day I booked the resort for our 3 days stay. He was on top of everything from scratch to the end. If there is anything you need, he will make sure to arrange it for us. It was our wedding anniversary. They arranged a flower bed, a candle lit dinner on the roof top with flower petals trails leading to the dinner table and even to the bed. It was truly a magical experience for us. I booked the jeep safari, it was truly amazing. The food is excellent, the chef accommodated all our requests. The beauty of the resort is that, the rooms are separate units away from the main building and has complete privacy and has stone bathtubs on the roof of every unit. The view of the mountains and the clouds blanketing the mountains is a beautiful view to wake up to. This is the perfect resort to stay in to communicate with Mother Nature and it is totally worth it. My wife was in awe at my selection of this resort. I came across this resort randomly when I was checking my FB and decided to call them, and finally ended up booking it for our anniversary. It was totally worth it and I would definitely go back with my wife each and every chance I get. Everyone reading this review, you guys should definitely visit it, it's totally worth it - MARAM RESORT, Mamlakandam.
