Beautiful location on the shore of the Aegean opposite the islands of Doukos ,& Idra. Hotel and grounds kept very clean and tidy. Always staff cleaning and groundsmen keeping the extensive garden beautiful. The down side is it is in a very isolated location. So expected some sort of entertainment and program of events. None was forthcoming. A peaceful start was welcome then all hell broke loose from Friday to the Monday. A whole school of kids arrived with adults who had very little control of their charges. Scooters whizzing through the buffet area and into reception. Disgraceful ,,the little darlings took massive amounts of food they didn't eat. So if you want to book, check Greek school holidays and ask the question about school party bookings. Our room was adequate, nice bathroom with walk in shower. No hot drink facilities available which seemed odd ,for a supposed 5,☆hotel. Perhaps not the thing in Greece. Breakfast and lunches were good but dinner disappointing. Most food was over cooked and just about warm. Wine and water was in abundance at lunch & dinner. Pool area was good though could do with an adult only pool. Between the 3 beaches sun loungers with parasols were readily available. Not so sure this would be the case in peak season. To sum it up for an all inclusive deal not the best I have been to. Location splendid. Beds very comfortable. I must give a shout out to reception staff who were brilliant, especially Jessica who helped us out with a problem we had ,( not hotel related,):

This hotel is set in the most beautiful surroundings with a perfect view of Hydra Island. Sea is calm and beaches within the grounds. Very quiet when we stayed, great for us because we wanted to relax but some may want some more nightlife. Food in main restaurant varied, could always find something to enjoy, especially the amazing salads and fruit (and bread to die for!). Sometimes a bit repetitive but must be hard to cater for so many different nationalities. Reception staff helpful, especially Jessica. Main highlight was the great food served at the a la carte restaurant. Had dinner (Italian) and lunch (Mediterranean) and both times food was high quality and plentiful and great service. Overall, we acheived what we came for, a week to recharge our batteries.

A beautiful resort in a stunning location. 3 hours by road from Athens may deter some, but the experience is well worth it (the drive itself will impress too…). Wonderful food for all tastes in the elevated restaurant and ‘low key’ bars by the beach and pool. Very comfortable beds and spotlessly clean accommodation. A highlight for us were the staff themselves who were so kind and courteous. They were obviously proud of their work (the reception, catering and support staff). Hopefully we can visit again soon to enjoy the great hospitality at the impressive Hydra Resort.

This is an interesting island in Greece. Of course, most islands in Greece are beautiful, but Hydra is car-less. We took the Athens subway line 1 to the port at Piraeus and walk over to the ferries terminal. Most ferries at the Athens port carry both cars and people, but Hydra ferry is passengers only. The island relies on mules to transport goods, and hotel strap luggages to the sides of mules to bring them to the hotel, which almost always include a steep climb. There's a high point on the island that's called the viewpoint on Google Maps. We climbed up and enjoyed a 360 view of the north central area of the island. A fun day trip.

We spent here summer vacation with our 11 Yo daughter. Hotel is great, location is excellent. Rooms are not the top class but this is ok. Beach is beatiful and water is clear and calm. Food is apsolutely delicious, and overall all inclusive service is fully recommanded. Only thing is if you travel by car be ready for the last 100km of bad road... Overall expirience - we will come again!

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. Before booking it we had an excellent communications with the reservation department and what ever we asked for, we were provided. We were staying with our two daughters in the Beach Front Rooms and it was very convenient because our children even after it was getting dark were going to swim because the water was very warm late in the evenings and the sea was only 5 seconds away from our room ( front of our room ). We were very, very happy with our stay in this hotel and we were always treated exceptionally....

Paraskevi was very calm and gentle, my massage was really relaxing and I wished it could have lasted longer. I would definitely come back for another massage if I come to the resort again
