Wingate by Wyndham Erlanger / Florence / Cincinnati South

This hotel was very nice! Very clean, comfortable, staff was amazing! Good location, convenient to restaurants, stores. Room was quiet. Very impressed!

I’ve had positive experiences at this hotel previously but things have gone down hill. The room we were given had a leaking air conditioner and the floor was SOAKED, along with a terrible smell of mildew. After a lot of explaining and going back-and-forth that we literally just walked in the room and it was like that. The owner on the phone was basically implying that we were lying. Luckily, we were finally switched rooms. The lady working the front desk was terrible. She was on the phone arguing with someone whose card declined for the room deposit for about 15 minutes as eight people were standing there trying to check in. She then had to call her boss two or three more times to ask questions (clearly she wasn’t trained properly) while many people were waiting to check in around midnight. I thought I liked this place, but most likely won’t be going back. Bummer!

Clean & Comfortable Clean comfortable room. Check in was a breeze. Older hotel has been renovated and a decent job was done. The bathroom has flooring planks that were not firmly attached. Otherwise, comfy bed & pillows. Priced a bit high IMO for the age of the hotel.

Weekend Get-a-way Perfect We stayed for a little family weekend get a way. The hotel was neat and clean. The staff especially the front desk was great, really friendly. The breakfast could use a little work, bagels were hard and cereal tasted stale. But I wouldn’t let that stop you from staying at this hotel. The overall experience far outweighed the breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

Stay Somewhere Else Bed was OK. Hotel is just a bit dated. Bathtub had stains in it and so I stood on the bath mat and took my shower since who knew what that was in there.

While not as comfortable as the CHOICE hotel beds, the bed was nice. The lack of bedside tables was troublesome; we used the only table for the CPAP and a footstool for another nightstand. The one elevator was so slow that a cute sign was posted saying that it was not slow, but relaxed. I'm not sure why the other faster elevator didn't come up as often as the slow one. We took the stairs when without luggage. The staff was exceptional. The young man on duty when we checked in went to secure a luggage cart for us. The young lady was also very helpful and industrious all weekend. The young woman when we checked out did not seem up to the standards the others set. The elevated prices are much too high. We are not likely to visit the area again if it is a time when room rates are tripled.
