Hotels Near Spielplatz ERBA in Erlangen

Leider kann ich an dieser Übernachtungsmöglichkeit nicht viel positives finden. Zum einen ist der Eingangsbereich relativ schmutzig, trotz trockenem Wetter. Die Zimmer sind leider nicht so groß wie auf Booking beschrieben. Dort habe ich ein Zimmer mit 25qm gebucht und das Zimmer, welches ich bekommen habe hat 3mx3m und auch wenn ich die Miniküche hinzurechne komme ich nie auf 25qm, was für die Comfortzimmer in der Beschreibung ausgewiesen wird. Als ich dann angerufen habe, war eine nette Dame, die sagte, es gibt in der Kategorie nur diese Zimmergrösse. Leider lies die Sauberkeit dann auch eher zu Wünschen übrig, auf dem Boden der Miniküche lagen noch die Krümel vom Vorgänger, an der Wand und auf dem Boden des Bades waren noch Zahnpastareste und in der Duschzelle lag noch der Rest einer Duschgelverpackung vom Vorgänger. Leider habe ich dann erst am Abend vor der Abreise festgestellt, dass das elektrische Rollo vom Balkonfenster auch nicht ging. Alles in allem eine unschöne Erfahrung, die keiner Wiederholung bedarf.

Incredibly beautiful and quiet hotel in Erlangen. The castle room is the absolute paradise for children and the roof terrace is a real highlight! The room and bath were really clean without a snack! The staff is very premature, friendly and always and everywhere accessible. The breakfast buffet was really recommendable. Fresh bread, great bread and a always beautiful and freshly filled out of sauce and cheese. Marmelades, honey, juices and various yoghurts were also offered. Coffee, tea and cocoa were perfectly and quickly provided by the staff at the table. The hygiene concept that is visible to the guest has really convinced us! We will come back anyway! For those who booked for a friend, the location is more suitable for people who drive, just at the high-speed exit. There are big supermarkets around. The decoration of the hotel is very new and the price is also very suitable. It is really cost-effective in the expensive Erlangen.

Service good, bed comfortable but cushion terrible : too soft. Next railway made impossible to open window when airco did not cool the room. Breakfast was average, breadrolls were reheated and dry, and cheese was cold and dried out, should be covered. Wifi was decent but not stable, and housing keeping a bit slow in addressing issues. Still good location to city center, but railway line is something to consider. Good value for money considering the style of hotel

A really very nice hotel in French Idyll. Located in a beautiful area, this hotel is definitely at the point of start which is worth it. Friendly check-in it went to the room and what I should say. All suits. Only the night noise was a little disturbing because the room was a little bright. A cozy bed, everything was needed to work and a good breakfast the next day. Please continue like that. Conclude: It's always liked.

Considering this is only a 3* property, the staff make sure you have a far greater experience that really impresses. The hotel is located a relatively short walk from Nuremberg Castle (about 10 -15 minutes) which is the Northern point of the old town. You can also ride the 4 Tramline that stops outside the hotel or the U3 underground line is less than a 10 minute walk. As such, you're very well connected and in easy reach of everything the city has to offer. The hotel looks like an older building, almost medieval in it's styling, but it is modern, fresh and clean. They are practicing COVID protocols, which must be followed and that included having a vaccination certificate to check in. Masks are required in all the public areas and you need to specify a breakfast time so as they can organize the distance seating. My room was odd in that it was huge, but set for one person. A big double bed, but with a single duvet and just one pillow. The linens were fresh and clean and mattress comfortable. There's a desk, chair, small table, flat screen TV and good space for luggage and hanging clothes, but it felt very empty because of the size. Hardly a complaint. There's a fridge, which is very welcome. The heating was good and needed in the cold winter. Bathrooms have a shower/tub and basin with excellent hot water pressure, but the only amenity is a standard body/hair wash. Towels were a bit old, but certainly clean. Currently, house keeping is limited because of COVID, but towels are refreshed every day and they empty the trash. Breakfast is excellent. On my first morning, they even laid out a chocolate Santa for me, which was very nice. There is everything you'd want to eat and more. A really good selection of hot and cold items, all of very high quality. It's buffet style, but the staff are still there to help and are always friendly and clear tables quickly. The one problem the hotel is currently experiencing is with their WIFI provider. Although free, the property has run into a tech issue they seem unable to solve that means you have to pay to log in to each device. You will have no choice but to pay, so make sure when you login you get a receipt. Just email it to the front desk and they will immediately reimburse you either in cash or make a credit on your credit card. They are just as frustrated by the provider as the guests, but they are super efficient about repaying the guest's costs. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this hotel. Very nice staff and good problem solvers that means problems aren't problems at all. I believe there is parking on site, but I didn't need it. They also have fresh fruit to help yourself throughout the day. A great option for Nuremburg.

The room is very spacious and bright, the surrounding is quiet, the price is right, there is a local train station next to it, it is easy to find a taxi next to the train station. There is a small restaurant called Pizza in 3 minutes. His fried noodles are more suitable for Chinese tastes. It is very convenient to travel or travel here.

The room and bathroom were very clean - the cleanest hostel I’ve been stayed in Europe! They also do decent breakfasts for a low price. Secure lockers. Staff were very helpful. Good location to explore Nuremberg. I can’t recommend this hostel enough. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The entrance is easy to miss, I found. If you're coming from Königstor, the main road from the Hauptbahnhof, it'll be on your left. Look for the blue bicycle sign, in between the trees. After you check in, note that the doors are locked after curfew (8 PM) -- bring your room key with you when you go out! I found my room spacious for a single, a pleasant turnaround from the last place I stayed. There was only one oversized pillow, where I would have preferred more. I could have asked for extras, but I just made do since I was only staying one night. There's no A/C, but beside the bed is a standing fan that even has a quiet-run setting. All in all, this a great deal for visiting Nuremberg's old town -- if you can find it! ;-)
