Hotels Near Apostel Church in Erlangen

We were there as non-hotel guests for breakfast. This cost p.P. € 18 incl. drinks and offered everything the heart wants. The food is not hillsidely there, but in appetitely small quantities, but are always made for it. Everything was very delicious and clearly no cheap finish. The staff was extremely friendly and you sat comfortable. It was a really pleasant atmosphere. We can make it again!

Incredibly beautiful and quiet hotel in Erlangen. The castle room is the absolute paradise for children and the roof terrace is a real highlight! The room and bath were really clean without a snack! The staff is very premature, friendly and always and everywhere accessible. The breakfast buffet was really recommendable. Fresh bread, great bread and a always beautiful and freshly filled out of sauce and cheese. Marmelades, honey, juices and various yoghurts were also offered. Coffee, tea and cocoa were perfectly and quickly provided by the staff at the table. The hygiene concept that is visible to the guest has really convinced us! We will come back anyway! Very good for short stop when driving. The hotel is only a few minutes drive from the motorway exit and very easy to find. It’s located in an industrial estate/ business park type area. The room was functional with everything you need and was clean and in good condition. We stayed at an Ibis Budget in Belgium the next night and it was a lot more basic. B&B was a much better room. It was also good value at €66 for the room and €8.50pp for breakfast which was surprisingly decent. When you think that you pay €4 for a coffee in a motorway petrol station it’s not a bad deal. Yes, traffic noise can be heard from the rooms facing the motorway but with the windows closed it was not loud at all. I would definitely return next time driving this way.

I stayed at Herzogspark from Nov 29 to Dec 3. The stay was quite lovely and the people were very nice. However, I was not happy that I was only told that breakfast was not included in my room rate on the last day when I checked out. I felt that it was quite unfair and the hotel was not being very upfront about additional charges. In the end, when I checked out, I had to pay an additional and unexpected 150 euros.

For those who booked for a friend, the location is more suitable for people who drive, just at the high-speed exit. There are big supermarkets around. The decoration of the hotel is very new and the price is also very suitable. It is really cost-effective in the expensive Erlangen.

Beautiful hotel, central location, clean. Excellent swimming pool and spa. Excellent service, I forgot a sweatshirt in the room (a gift I am very fond of) and immediately they found it and sent it to my home address. Nice and good breakfast. Super recommended!

Wir waren dort für eine Nacht. Die Lage ist super. Der Parkplatz ist mit 20€ pro Nacht etwas überteuert. 12€ für den Parkplatz wären meiner Meinung nach angemessen. Das Essen kann ich nicht beurteilen da wir nicht mit Frühstück oder ähnliches gebucht haben. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung. Die Fenstervorhänge hatten leider dunkle Flecken. Dies wurde dem Personal beim Check-out mitgeteilt. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt in Ordnung.

Location very comfortable, face to the metro, well-cared and friendly staff and with excellent English. I suggest a few improvements, since the client is also business. The hostel was probably full during my stay, so the bathrooms were not clean as I would expect them, and two only toilets for men on the floor seem to me few, because I had to stay in the coat. I would like to have a more choice for breakfast, especially for the sweet but also for the salt.

Location is opposite the central train station and next to city centre. Hotel has an old vintage flair, if that's your thing. The small room is pretty small but will work for short trips if you don't have a lot of luggage.

We only booked this hotel as we were away on business and attending Biofach at the exhibition centre nearby. Of course prices went through the roof as an exhibition was on, my company £364 for a basic twin room per night / for 3 nights - over £1000 in total! When I arrived, yes the room was clean but I was suprised at how basic it was for the price, plus the fact it looked nothing like the pictures on trip advisor. I also looked on booking.com to see there was rooms available for that night for less than half of what we paid. I went down to reception and asked if there was any other rooms available as I felt our room was very poor quality for the price, and we overpaid compared to the current price for available rooms. I’ve never seen someone at reception seem to offended at such a standard question. She asked me ‘what my point was’, and insisted there were no rooms available except those that hadn’t been renovated. Answering my question if an available better room was available seemed impossible and she said I should speak to the manager the next day. However there was a very helpful woman who checked me in. Before I even got round to speaking to a manager the next day we decided to go the gym. Of course the gym isn’t signposted anywhere in the hotel, why would a key facility be? I asked the woman at the desk (who was on her mobile phone) where it was and she pointed ahead of her and said the door on the left after the glass door. There were 3 doors, of course none said gym on and they all looked the same. I picked one and ended up in the stock room. I went back and asked her to confirm again but she just pointed again as it must have been too much effort to walk round from the desk and show me. Of course I eventually found it, no air con, music or lights but not suprised. When we first arrived the lady at reception recommended booking for the restaurant as it gets busy, we didn’t book that night and we were asked by the waiter if we had a reservation but luckily there was space. We decided the next day to request a booking to which the response was ‘you don’t need to book there’s lots of rooms’, to which I confirmed what the waiter had said and so she reluctantly wrote my room number down on a piece of paper. I never even complain, especially when away on business, but only 1 night in I felt I needed to The plus side is the food is good, and the location is 10 minutes from the exhibition, shame it was taken over from the Hilton and the customer service is beyond poor.
