It's the type I like. The beach house we booked is economical and affordable. The whole island environment is warm and comfortable. You can snorkel outside. There are beautiful coral reefs and various cute fish.

Eriyadu is the island we were looking for, small and wild that transmits emotions in every corner. The staff is fantastic, kind, always available, manager ready to manage all the situations of a group of 20 people that we were. All services available. Sea and coral reef with sharks, turtles, every species of fish and coral. The diving center extremely professional. Thank you

Just returned from a weeks stay at Eriyadu Island Resort & felt compelled to write a review . Absolutely loved my stay , everyone was so friendly staff & other guests alike . It being one of the smaller island there was still plenty to do , snorkelling around the house reef was amazing , I’m not the most confident swimmer but it was shallow enough to feel safe & still see the beautiful fish . There are plenty of other watersports available & the Dive School activities are advertised daily on the board near the restaurant . Loved the food - my only complaint would be we ate far too much , really enjoyed the various curries they served they were all delicious but other options are available . Remember this is an island & all supplies are shipped in by boat so must be a mission in itself . Yes the rooms are a bit dated but we’re always kept spotlessly clean ( thank you Sagar ) as is everywhere , we only slept & showered in it , we certainly didn’t go with plans to stay in the room all day !! Renovations are ongoing but their plans sound amazing & would love to return to see the changes made . Would I go back - most definitely if they’d have us .

Just returned home yesterday after a lovely week at this beautiful place . I can truly say it was all brilliant I can’t fault anything . The room we had - 344 - with direct access to the beach and sea was perfectly situated and I think probably the nicest room on the island .! . All the staff were polite friendly and helpful - big thanks to Sagra who cleaned our room everyday and was so friendly and helpful . We had plenty of towels for both the bathroom and beach . The restaurant was as lovely all the staff again friendly and helpful and the food was excellent we enjoyed so many types of curry and everyday was something different. If you don’t like curry there are still other options which looked nice . The bar overlooking the sea was good we had cocktails and wine - all nice . the evening entertainment was varied quiz night , singers, karaoke etc and a good array of books for swopping . The dive centre is great and we went with them one day to snorkel and look for turtles , the guys all so patient with us less confident . That was a great afternoon and the fish we saw were stunning . We also snorkelled direct from the beach , shallow enough to walk to the reef which is good if you don’t like deep water but still saw so many fish. The speedboat transfer was fun and efficient and the guys move cases from your room and on and off the boat so no need to drag your cases - thanks to them all . Thank you to Nuf for making us so welcome and giving us lots of info . There are some renovations going on but didn’t bother us at all . We sincerely thank everyone who works on the island - cleaners -chefs - kitchen staff - waiters - gardeners - admin staff etc . Thanks again - I hope to revisit one day

This place needs serious investment and it looks like it is getting it. We are currently on holiday here and yet again been awoke by the building work going on. We have been to other resorts in the Maldives and admittedly this was the cheapest but to say the rooms are tired is an understatement. We saw the state of the floor, furnishings and damp smell and asked to change room but were told to come back in the morning. The next morning we looked around the island saw our accommodation was in fact ‘premium” compared to the others so decided to not proceed with a room change after all. The food here is good and the service to and after all the Maldives is a beautiful place with excellent snorkelling, but the weather is sometimes very rainy so it can be necessary to stay in your room and when it’s not even up to the standard of a budget motel it’s disappointing and not we expected from a Maldivian resort. We have been told the whole place is closing down in September for full refurb but if you are thinking of coming before then we would certainly not recommend it.

We had a very good experience. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the food was good, and the accommodation was nice. The people were very kind, especially a gentleman from the main resturant named Nimesh, who was exceptionally helpful and kind. We created some truly beautiful memories.

We flew from London to Mali, Maldives, via Qatar. From Mali, we got a speedboat to Eriyadu Island Resort. This was not our usual type of holiday, but we were looking to switch off for a week and unwind. It was amazing - sunshine, sea, warmth, good food, activities, attentive staff and seclusion. Perfect. There are about 50 cabins on the island. So, you’ll not be swamped with crowds. The mix of people we had with us were Brits, Dutch, Germans, and Russians. It was lovely. The island is small, you can literally walk around the island in less than 15 minutes. However, there is plenty to do, or nothing to do … your choice. The island is all inclusive, so there is nothing extra to pay for. There are cocktails and mocktails all day if you want them. The food offering at breakfast, lunch and dinner was very good. No complaints at all. It was nice to try a variety of foods from all over the world. The fish was lovely, the meats were delicious. It wasn’t 5 star dining, but it was a very good selection, perfectly cooked. The beach areas are divine. Snorkelling, body boarding and kayaking (canoeing), the gym are all included free too. You’ll need to get a snorkelling mask from the dive centre, but it is free. You could book some dive lessons or dive time, but these do cost extra. We also had a lovely sunset cruise to try and find some dolphins … sadly, no luck that day, but it was a lovely long boat ride out past other islands. We also had a nice hour long massage at the spa … very welcoming. We booked thru Blue Bay Travel. The price for our 8 day holiday was very good. You could notch things up to a 5 star hotel and food, but you’ll be paying £500 more for a week. This was just perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of rest and beach time, as well as some water activities. A perfect taster holiday to experience the Maldives.
