Anna was a most friendly and helpful host, going the extra mile to accommodate our early arrival. We had a lovely, spacious room on the beautiful property, which features an impeccably maintained pool and various attractive outdoor seating areas. The breakfast buffet was truly exceptional, with a wide range of sweet and savory offerings, and the multi-course dinners, prepared and served by the charming Rosa, were a culinary treat. The location is a restful location for exploring the region, includin Segesta, Erice and Trapani. Free parking is available on the premises.

The place is beautiful, set in quiet area. Rooms are spacious, clean and air conditioning is very good. The pool is nice and clean. The food is esquisite. They have a set menu of sicilian food which changes every night. The breakfast is also very good. We thank Rosa for her excellent cooking. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Don Carlo Agriturismo September 2023 for four nights.It is a quiet farm surrounded by the olive trees they grow and make olive oil from. The pool was so refreshing after very hot days of exploring Erice, Trapani and Segesta.At night we went up on the rooftop to relax, talk, have some wine and look out at the lights of Trapani. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable..I would have like the towels changed at least once in our four nights. Leonardo arranged for a tour of the salt pans which was so appreciated since all of the places were already booked. Anna had breakfast every morning and all the cappuccino we needed.But the real highlight were the dinners that Rosa cooked for us. Each night there was an appetizer of authentic vegetables, olives , cheese and other surprises, a first course pasta with different sauces and pastas - all typical of the region, then a main course of sausage, or pork cutlets and other delicious entrees with salad/vegetable and amazing homemade dessert. I could write a lot about each dinner and go on forever, but just to say that each night was as excellent as the night before. Rosa served us right on time and had a beautiful table set and a smile. We loved her!!! Also, we didn't have to navigate the dark country roads to get to a restaurant and back to the farm. In our month in Sicily these meals were a highlight. Our stay at Don Carlo was easy and carefree in every way. We would definitely come again.

The agriturismo is in the countryside a few minutes from Fulgatore, where there is a small supermarket, and about 30 minutes from the medieval hilltop town of Erice. The room was comfortable, clean and reasonably-sized, and had a fridge so you could put drinks, etc. to chill. It also had air conditioning. Unfortunately the swimming pool area is now almost completely surrounded by walls, trees, bushes, etc. so you don't get a view of the pretty countryside and when we were there the pool had a scummy yellowish mark all around the waterline which was quite off-putting (although the pool itself was cleaned every day with a hoover-type machine). The highlight for us was the food - adequate continental-style breakfasts and fantastic dinners (we ha the optional half board for the 3 days we were there) cooked fresh every day by the cook Rosa. Since there are only 6 rooms, it was like having home-made Italian food - no choice, as she used whatever fresh ingredients she was able to get that day,

When reading this review please remember 3 stars is still "very good". The location is slightly isolated being in the countryside. Some will prefer this as we did. Everything in the room was just fine. The pool and the views out over the hills were great. We took advantage of the in house dinner on one occasion and this is appreciated to avoid driving although there are restaurants within 15 minutes by car. The issue is that the dinner was adequate but not such a good quality/price ratio. I need not go into detail but the meal should have been better. Finally, although the greeting and interaction with personnel was professional it was not particularly warm nor informative.

Our stay at Agriturismo Don Carlo was exceptional. Leonardo, Anna and Rosa were very helpful from beginning till the end of our stay. The atmosphere at Don Carlo is very relaxed, peaceful and calm. Breakfast is delicious, everything homemade by Anna, including jams and biscuits! We also had dinner at Don Carlo several times during our stay. All was prepared by chef Rosa. Simply delicious, especially the pasta Trapanese and the almond ice cream! Both Anna and Rosa are so caring and make you feel so welcome and looked after. The space is also ideal for children. Our 4 year old and 4 month old baby loved it in their own ways. The location is also ideal to visit nearby places of interest including Castellammare del Golfo, Trapani, San Vito lo Capo etc. Don Carlo is secluded but conveniently located at the same time. Will surely return should we decide to visit the are again. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place in a quiet area of Fulgatore near Trapani & San Vito lo Capo. The hosts were very nice and assisted in everything we’ve asked. Thanks to Anna and Rosa for the lovely daily breakfast and dinner. Spacious rooms with all amnesties, cold beer available and you can relax by the pool. It’s a must to try the cakes, marmalades, oil and honey produced by the same agriturismo. Secure parking spaces for the motorcycles. Thanks for everything, and we will visit in the future.
