The hotel is in a good location, surrounded by shops. It is in an ancient town where the protagonist of the cartoon originated. There are also many Western restaurants nearby. The hotel's breakfast dining area is limited. When checking in, the front desk will ask what time it is to have breakfast.

Very friendly staff in a top location in Erfurt, because you can easily reach everything on foot. The furnishings are getting old and there is no minibar in the room. Despite the breakfast times, the area is very small.

Just stayed here for three nights and really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. I liked the warming rack for towels and the speaker for the tv in the bathroom. The room was very quiet and was well located - only a ten-minute walk from the train station and very close to all the tourist areas of the town. I enjoyed the breakfast here. They brought fresh pots of coffee to each table and had a nice array of breakfast choices. The small pastries and croissants were very delicious and the man who worked in the breakfast room was especially pleasant. If I ever return to lovely Erfurt, I would stay here again.

I had to work at booking this hotel because finding and then using their website is quite challenging. Getting the various pages to present in English is the first hurdle. However, it was worth it . I booked an apartment on the third floor. It was just great….. lovely and well-equipped kitchen and bath, living room, dining area. Very clean and all updated. Super quiet. The reception staff was helpful and pleasant. The location was very convenient within walking distance of the sights, train station (10 minutes), and a shopping center on Anger with everything you might need. I wouldn’t bother with their restaurant. It’s pretentious and the food isn’t worth the money. I would very readily stay here again in an apartment.

Defekte Heizung mit untragbaren Raumtemperaturen, insbesondere mit Kleinkind. Ich habe die Rezeption angerufen und sogar über Booking den Kundrnservice geschrieben. Trotzdem keine Hilfe oder trotz vorzeitiger Abreise eine Kostenrückerstattung oder zumindest Teilstorno!

Sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. So wurde unser Gepäck schon weit vor dem offiziellen Checkin in unser Zimmer gebracht. Unser Zimmer verfügte über ein neues Badezimmer, das natürlich auch sehr sauber war. An der Hotelbar kann man bis 01:00 Uhr etwas zu trinken bekommen. Einen kleinen Stadtplan erhält man bei der Ankunft und eine Erklärung der bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten obendrein. Das sehr gute Hotelrestaurant hat leider Sonntag und Montag geschlossen. Hier empfiehlt sich auf jeden Fall eine Reservierung. Achtung: Tiefgarage nur bis 1,75 m Fahrzeughöhe geeignet. In der Spielstraße auf der Anfahrt zum Hotel wird gern "geblitzt"-zur Erinnerung: es gilt Schrittgeschwindigkeit! Unser Zimmer verfügte leider nicht über einen Kühlschrank.

Das Hotel eignet sich aufgrund der zentralen Lage gut für einen Städtetrip. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von dem jungen Mann an der Rezeption empfangen - das war ein gelungener Start in ein schönes Erfurt-Wochenende! Auch die Mitarbeiterin beim Frühstücksservice war ausgesprochen nett. Sie hat uns extra draußen den Tisch eingedeckt, obwohl das ein großer Zusatzaufwand für sie war.

Wir hatten einen Aufenthalt gebucht mit 10 Personen, Übernachtung und Restaurant. Es wurde alles sorgfältig besprochen. Leider hat davon nichts geklappt. Das Hotel bietet eine Zigarrenlounge an, welche man nach dem Essen nicht nutzen kann, da geschlossen. (obwohl besprochen) Es gibt vorlaute und unwissende Kellnerinnen. Das Frühstück ist ein Witz. Die Bar,welche eigentlich auch keine ist, gleicht dem Frühstück. Insgesamt ist das Personal äußerst inkompetent. Wir können dieses Hotel nicht weiter empfehlen. Das einzige was den angegebenen Sternen der Klassifizierung des Hotels entspricht, das sind die Preise. 20,- € für das Parken, das sind Berliner Preise. Das Hotel selbst verdient höchstens 3 Sterne.
