Aeolian Village Beach Resort

We arrived as a group of 6, 3 couples. Staff were amazing and friendly, especially Dōrothéa and Dionysia, who could not do enough for all The facilities were spotless, the rooms amazing and so many activities to do. The walk into skala is easy and flat and lots of nice bars and restaurants The all inclusive day time menu was incredible, we usually dont do all inclusove but one of the group preferred it- and so glad we did Ample choices for breakfast and evening meal We will be back

With the 4 of us we had an amazing time in the Aeolian Hotel. The food was top of the line and the service in the restaurant was extraordinary. Especially our favourite waitress Maria, she easily created a real connection and was very helpful! Overall our holiday was a big success!

I loved this vacation. Everything was just perfect, very kind and helpful staff, nice clean rooms. Food was delicious and there was a really big choice of various meals. Sea was clean but definitely we recommend shoes as there are stones. Hotel is approx 2 hours from airport but it's worth it! :)

What a fabulous hotel . Staff were amazing and so friendly and service second to none . We travelled with Jet2 and although a 2 hour transfer it was so worth it ! Wasn’t a scary ride as the road is 2 lanes and has barriers and such a beautiful way to see the island . Been on far more innocuous roads in Southern France . Great choices of food especially at breakfast and lunch and staff couldn’t do enough for you both in the restaurants , bars and also the resort . Loved the beach bar too which had a great chilled vibe and so close to the hotel . Rooms spotless as was the pool area and really enjoyed the in resort fitness/activites . Big shout out to Lucy who did most of these activities and was so welcoming and enthusiastic. Rooms cleaned really regular and ours looked over the sea in the main hotel . We went into the village both during the day and evening and had a brilliant time . Very cheap to eat and drink and people so welcoming . Only 2 minor things , less snacks during the day than usual all inclusive we have stayed in before and water sports only included for MW guests . Other than that perfect stay and would definitely return ! Also no fights for sunbeds or people being silly and putting towels down as ample beds both round the pool and on the beach !

Beautiful place with friendly stuff! Loved the beach and the pool! Nice view and helpful people! Organised massage area with experienced stuff! Ruth Kolovou the best massager ! Top choise during your stay or visit there! Must try before you leave the island!

We were extremely disappointed with our trip to Aeolian Village this summer (with Mark Warner). The resort is incredibly basic and not up to scratch. My thoughts are below - The resort is basic and not more than 2*s. We don’t seek luxury resorts on our holidays, but this was disappointing. - As a MW guest, you’re expected to share the resort with Jet2 holidaymakers. Not only do they get an all-inclusive package at the resort, but they pay far less and get to use most of the sports facilities / classes. - There is a large campsite next to the resort and we saw people come in daily and use resort showers with their dogs etc. There is no resort security. The grey thing about MW holidays is the freedom / independence that the kids can experience and as a result, we couldn’t let our kids go off like at other MW resorts (ie Phokaia). - There is a car park / road between the resort and beach. - The rooms were similar to university accommodation - not well decorated or inviting. - Our balcony door was broken (clearly forced open) and we sought to get this fixed (twice) with Ali the Manager. When we raised this he never followed up with us - it was broken all week. This was dangerous from an intruder perspective (there is no security at the resort) and also from our kids being able to access the balcony easily. - The pool and furniture and the bar was basic - plastic chairs etc and very dated. As a result we didn’t spend time there at all. - The towel system was weird. You needed to hold onto beach towels for half the week or pay 15 euros. Felt very naff and the towel man was never there. - Whilst I don’t care about this as much, the coffee was awful. Best coffee at beach bar which didn’t open until 11 on most days. The MW staff here (not including the manager who didn’t sort out broken door) were incredible. They were brilliant. The rooms were cleaned well and the restaurant staff were also nice. The local village was also lovely. Those are the benefits. I can honestly say we don’t usually complain, but we are really disappointed with this stay which felt like a huge rip off for such basic amenities. We have raised this with MW Customer Services who seem incredibly unhelpful and indifferent which has put us off using MW again. After being a MW customer, we will not be using them again. Neilsons next year! I really wouldn’t book at this resort if you have the option.
