Premier Inn Epsom Central

Lovely clean room and good value for money. The evening meal and breakfast was very good family as the children ate free.

As a whitbread shareholder I am so disappointed to have to say that this was disgusting, I hate to criticise the brand but it was so bad I can’t in all conscience not say this. The room is beautifully refurbished but filthy. Bits of toilet paper in the floor and hardly any in the dispenser, a dirty toilet roll instead with used toilet paper stuffed down the middle. No soap at all, it can’t have just been used as it was literally bone dry. We were woken by someone shouting, which turned out to be someone in housekeeping shouting at someone on her phone. The breakfast was scant. The lady was doing her best but there was no food. Asked for a piece of bread and she only had half a loaf of frozen. Waited for it to thaw enough to separate some. She brought out a plate of warm croissants and shared amongst the guests, they were lovely but not a breakfast for everyone. There is no running water in the filthy toilets, a large pool of brown liquid on the floor with just a sign stuck in the middle, and the stench was foul. We had to just take what we could back to the room to use the toilet and wash as felt dirty after going into the toilets. The person in housekeeping was still shouting at someone in her phone.

I've been coming to the Premier inn Epsom central for quite a few years now and love the refurbished rooms good decor and big improvements with the electrical sockets now having USB ports. A definitely fresh and more modern welcoming room as soon as you walk through the door. Staff always polite and helpful and welcoming. The onsite pub restaurant is still recovering from a trial Premier inn guests only period that lost its once thriving general public. Great to see some of the original staff still there like kirsty who with the kitchen staff provided me and my youngest son a nice breakfast. The help you're self buffet for hot food was closed this time but it worked better as everything was cooked to order and fresh and not over cooked under those heat lamps. The continental spot on as well. But still needs a new coffee machine. The location of this whole site is great for my family

Stayed at the Premier Inn in Epsom and had such a great experience. The hotel was spotless, really comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were amazing – so friendly, approachable, and genuinely happy to help with anything. Their warm welcome really made me feel at home. Breakfast was also a highlight – plenty of fresh and tasty options, all nicely presented and topped up regularly. It was the perfect start to the day. Overall, I felt really well looked after and could see how much effort the team put into making guests comfortable. I’d happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Epsom and would definitely stay again.

Great location for the theme parks nearby. Free parking always a bonus with my large family needed 2 cars/2 rooms. Breakfast was standard but comfortable and easy accessible. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. All staff are friendly. Bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was modern

Very disappointed. Chose Premier Inn for the extra quality one tends to expect above their competitors, and can honestly say it was the worst hotel stay I've had in years. The list is long, but the highlights included (very) disinterested, miserable staff who barely acknowledged our presence upon arrival (and even less so upon departure), filthy rooms (dust on the side tables, empty shower gel, mouldy hand wash dispensers), no hand towels, no bath floor mats, no TV remote (had to ask 3 times for a replacement of which none still worked and eventually gave up), difficult to find anyone on reception, no visible staff in the restaurant area to buy water, enquire about upgrading to a breakfast, or even just a coffee for the road), a room with little ventilation and a provided fan that wouldn't barely knock a feather over. Would have expected this level of quality and service at a cheap motel by lorry stop. Skip this hotel, pay a little less and go to the Travelodge up the road.
