When I first checked in to Village Inns, it took 45 minutes to get keys coded to the door that actually worked [The front desk person was amazing, it was not his fault. He had excellent customer service skills]. The ice machine was in the next building so it was not easy to access and unpractical to use on at the level I would have. There was no AC/way to regulate the temperature in the room and there were no screens on the window, so I couldn't open it to cool the room overnight due to the bugs. The shower pressure barely misted during the shower. The hot water in the bathroom sink was way too hot immediately after turning it on. It seemed like such a high cost [$230/night] for subpar accommodations. I was grateful to be able to get away from the fireworks with my dogs but I would not come back again. I gave the feedback when I received an after visit survey, but basically received a "it's your fault for not telling us all these things at the beginning of your stay and we're human". Also "we hope you come back and give us another chance". As I was only going to be there overnight, it wasn't worth wasting more of my trip to wait for them to come and fix things.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic stay for New Year’s at Village Inn! I would describe the room as a clean, yet basic, no-frills accommodations in the perfect location. I was surprised by how comfy the bed was and what a great view we had from our room, which even included a balcony. The guy at the front desk was amazing! He was able to find us a last-minute room on a holiday weekend AND reminded me that I get an IKON discount. The only downside was the two-night minimum, which came to just over $600 for one night since we weren’t able to take any extra time off work. Regardless, it was one of the most fun, memorable New Year’s vacations I’ve had in a long time! I saw some reviewers complain of thin walls. We could hear the conversation of the group next to us while we were getting ready but it didn’t bother us. My boyfriend and I slept with noise-cancelling headphones just in case and didn’t have any issues getting to bed or staying asleep.

We stayed here one night after spending the day in Sunrise. The location was good for our plan to visit the Sunrise area of Mt. Rainier. The gondola? Overpriced. And since we had seen Mt. Rainier on our hikes, we decided not to go on the gondola ride. The room: poor. Not enough light from the fixtures in the room. No tissue paper. No armchairs to sit (to put on my hiking boots). There were only 2 high top chairs in the room. No counter space by the sink but there was an area outside the bathroom where i was able to keep all the toiletries. In dire need of updates! Definitely not worth the money we paid.

Check in was efficient. Room was ok would have liked a hairdryer. Shower was quite weak. For us the location was key as we had spent a day in the National Park. Good Wi-Fi. The staff were very helpful messaging before and after our stay and providing info of where e could eat. Room was noisy and you could hear other people staying.

Friendly staff, little extras (like s’mores kits), and even though there are only a few options for dining (it’s a small place) the food was great. Sunday evening live band and a community room (at Quicksilver) for playing games and etc when the skiing is done.

The staff were amazing!!!! So kind made the stay so fun! Everyone we talked to always had something exciting to say!! The room was very clean and everything was very easy to find and access. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a new place to visit for a ski trip!
