The main problem we had was that the hotel had been painted and varnished floors the week before. The smell of varnish was very strong and forced us to keep the room open during the day and part of the night. The temperature outside in January is low and it was quite unpleasant. The hotel was full and they could not offer us any other solution than to cancel the reservation and look for a nearby hotel with availability. I understand that the works are difficult to control, but perhaps the opening was hasty given the poor ventilation of the spaces. The design of the room by David Delfín is risky, certainly not for everyone's tastes. It is original but I think that the bathroom part is not well resolved and is not functional. They are spacious rooms, therefore, at least the shower should have a fixed space from our point of view. The Tierra restaurant, in line with the hotel, seemed too simple in its decoration, but we loved the food. The dishes are very well prepared and in reasonable quantities. The treatment from the staff was very good, in the case of the waiter (I didn't ask his name) he was excellent, a charming person. At breakfast I would include more variety. But I want to insist again on the preparation of the dishes, we found it original and exquisite. Finally, on the day of departure we visited the winery. Roberto was very friendly and gave us a visit closer to the strain than the bottle. We had never visited a winery so interesting from the point of view of the treatment of the vine, the grapes, etc... of course he explained the treatment of the winery to us and we did the tasting, but what we liked the most was the explanations on foot field. As I said, the beginning was not good, but little by little it gained momentum, the first day I would have given it a 2, however, as it progressed I left it at a 4.
