Papyrus is excellent for a short stay near Entebbe airport. I really appreciated the comfortable and quiet rooms, the lush garden, the friendly and attentive staff, and the good food. The hotel offers 24-hour check-in and an airport transfer service, and is only a few minutes from Victoria Mall and Imperial Mall, which have restaurants, exchange services and supermarkets. The guesthouse does not offer amenities such as a pool, gym or cable TV, but this is not something I was looking for, so it was perfect!

Papyrus Guest House is awesome! Everyone was very welcoming - the location is great and the service was outstanding. I was delayed at the airport as the airline had lost my luggage. At 3am I finally came out ( two hours late) and there was Paul from Papyrus still waiting patiently to meet me! Thanks Paul and thanks also to Jariah (Manager), Gift, Ritah and Allen!

Spent twice two night at the Papyrus Guest House, at the beginning and the end of our trip in Uganda. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were comfy and the location, despite being close to the city, makes you feel like you're in nature already. The whole staff made sure our stay was incredible and that we felt at ease. Special thanks to Joxiah, Ritah und Gift for their professionalisme, kindness and smile! Thanks everyone! Ps: the food was delicious too!

Nice colonial house which is turned to guesthouse, friendly service. Room is plain but the main building with the veranda where you have breakfast and dinner is very pleasant. Food is good and the area is nice for a stroll.

Nice, clean room and friendly staff. Nice food. Especially Edward in the bar was great craic. Looking forward to coming back here for our last night on our safari on Saturday.
