It is a nice place, but there were some issues that make me not want to come back. The biggest was the Air Wick in the room. The scent made me want to flee the room, and even leaving the door open for a few hours only made the room tolerable. Second was the heat pump. The remote was very difficult to figure out, with inscrutable icons for "heat," and "A/C", so while we thought that we were warming the room, we woke up at 1:30AM in a freezing room, and had to play with the remote for another 20 minutes before the room started to warm. Less important, while the architect had a sense of whimsy, the layout is quite difficult to navigate, and the parking lots dominate the view from the rooms, when they could have hidden the parking and made the native (or landscaped) vegetation prominent. Breakfast is served at 9AM, which was much too late for us, so we can't comment on that. If you have mobility issues, don't stay in the wine barrels. However, there are nice cabins with a flat entrance. The staff were nice, but we barely interacted with them.
