Premier Inn London New Southgate

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this fantastic hotel. My daughter and I stayed in a twin room having travelled down from Yorkshire by car. The hotel is in an ideal location for travelling around using the Underground. The Arnos Grove Station is literally less than 10 minutes walk away. It's on the Picadilly line so is ideally suited for getting into the centre of London. The Hotel room was very clean and comfortable with a brilliant shower, good aircon and plenty of space. We opted for the meal deal which represented very good value for money. The food was lovely. The breakfast had lots of choice, with pretty much everything you could think of. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of the onsite parking, which was secure and very reasonably priced, especially for London. I would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel to anyone thinking of a visit to London.

Ok for 1 night. Check in was at 3pm but then got told our room wasn’t ready. Not good enough really as we turned up at correct time. Everyone else in the queue got there room apart from me! Check in desk - very busy and only 1 person and self check in tablets broken. There was other staff standing around. Room - is what I had asked for enough space. Bed comfy. Breakfast - lots of options and food still hot very good.

Really nicely presented premier inn with amazing secure car parking for only £5, complete with EV charging - while these are brand new and not fully working, I was able to trickle charge which was enough to get me home.

Five star service provided by the staff Morning and evening and even let me get a late night drink Very clean and just what we needed Will re book at the end of the year as location is ideal and Arnos Grove tube station is a short walk to take you straight to Covent Garden

Stayed 3 times in last 2 yrs. 1st time was great. Last 2 times the room has smelt bad. Last time was **** and cigarette smoke and ****. Just put up with it as was short on time and tired. This time musty, damp and mildew smell hit us as we got out the lift on floor 4. Had room 403 which smelt the same. Put air con on in hope it would improve. Went out and came back later and no change. Asked to move rooms which they agreed too. Same floor 4. Room 415 I think. Smelt bit better but still the same. Used bathroom and then drains smelt too. Had a function early next morning so put up with it. Clothes smelt bad next day which was annoying. Hotel is very convenient and parking is a reasonable price and opposite hotel and has security gates. Staff are friendly and helpful and check-in is efficient.

We are very regular customers at Premier Inns but this stay was very disappointing as there was only one evening chef on duty and we waited almost two hours for our dinner. Next morning there was no chef so we could not eat the cooked breakfast paid for in advance.

it's a good hotel in general good value for money and well located, but on our last day, we had a very late night and were sleeping when suddenly the fire alarm went off, it was so loud and it terrified us to death! we panicked and my husband got anxiety and headache for the rest of the day! Also you need to pay 5£ for parking each night.

Very good hotel, superb location, nice and clean rooms, I tend to take breakfast and dinner, I recommend to take the meal deal of full breakfast and dinner, is good value for your money, my only issue is with the staff being quite slow in the restaurant,
