Forest House Hotel

I had a very good experience at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They allowed me to check in early after arriving from a long flight. The room was very clean and perfect for a solo traveller. It was a fair walk from the nearest subway station but the area was quite nice. Lots of small shops and food options.

Nice location and easy access to public transportation

Great hotel if you’re off to Alexandra Palace, we went for the darts. It’s a great location and we found Ubers fairly cheap to and from. We also thought it was great that they had parking available too as that is always a worry of mine. Only £10 per night. The room was clean and modern, small and cosy everything you’re looking for in a budget hotel. Staff are super friendly and welcoming too. Only complaint I’d have but it didn’t affect the rating as the hotel is excellent value for money is that it’s a tad noisy both in the fact that it’s a busy street but also you can hear other guests going to their rooms in the corridor, it wasn’t too much of an issue and didn’t keep us awake for too long. We will be booking again for next year.

It was a good value room with eveything needed for an overnight stay for 3 friends and very welcoming staff.

Decent room for price. Location convenient for budget trip to London (short bus ride to Wood Green tube). Friendly and helpful staff. However, I stayed on ground floor and at 3am each night I was awoken by noising people coming. The floor is wooden and the room doors have no sound insulation. I improved situation by third night using silicon ear plugs and I pushed the second duvet up against the door but still woke up to the noisy arrivals. Some carpet in the corridor and some sound insulation of room doors would be helpful. I informed the reception of my concerns.

Surprisingly warm and welcoming hotel in north London. Newly renovated, cosy and comfortable, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a room only stay, within shouting distance of new Spurs stadium and with plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. Staff could not have been nicer. Easy walk to Palmers Green railway stop bringing you straight into city centre and plenty of buses on your doorstep. Shout out to Occasional Half sports bar nearby who looked after us well.
