Really good place to stay, very clean and the owner is really accommodating too. He ensures that the guest are comfortable but have their own space too.
All amenities available, and a good place away from the chaos.
Just watch out that it might be a bit away from the city area.

The landlord is from Northeast China and has been in Australia for many years. He runs this yard after retirement. It is very tidy. We were delayed on the road that day and arrived at nearly 10 o'clock in the evening. The landlord Leon had been waiting for us in the living room. When he saw our car entering the yard, he greeted us through the window and welcomed us. It felt like home!

Leon has created such a lovely space to stay, he is such a great host, even providing breakfast for us with an array of different items to eat . Everything was spotless and created such a nice atmosphere , I’m definitely keen to stay again

Really enjoyed a homestay where we comfortably used the kitchen to cook our evening meal and then relax in front of the slow combustion stove.
Bedroom and bathroom were good quality and Leon the host was very hospitable. Nice continental breakfast too.

Leon the owner is an absolute superstar. So accommodating and can’t do enough. The property itself is beautiful and secluded. Just a short 15 min drive to local amenities and around 25 into Ballarat centre itself.
If I’m ever in the area again, this will be the place.
