"amazing location for a night's rest, expected it to be small but it was much more comfortable than i thought."

"This place is so beautiful, traditional style rooms and sliding doors, lots of natural wood. It felt like I was in a luxury hotel! The woman who ran in was so kind and friendly, I loved my stay here. I stayed here to hike a portion of the Nakasendo Way- Magome to Tsumago. It’s not close, you have to go to take like 2 or 3 transits to get there, I think it was like 2 hours to get there if I remember. It’s an old, traditional Japanese village- the buildings are really cool. There wasn’t much going on though while I was there, not many restaurants open. I ended up stocking up on food from 7/11 in Ena or Nakatsugawa I think it was to take back with me because there aren’t any stores like that in Iwamura that I found. You can get cash out from the ATM at the post office. This was a very peaceful place and a cool insight into a non-touristy area of Japanese life. Would definitely recommend this accommodation."

"After staying in the Ena Valley for two days, the Japanese-style hot spring hotel owned by Tangkuai has a very nice view, and the vast lakes and mountains of the Ena Valley spread out of the window. It is very convenient from Nagoya to Enakyo, and there are not many direct flights on the JR Chuo Line, two flights at 13:00 and 19:40, and the time is 40 minutes. When you arrive at Ena Station, you can take a bus and get off at Ena Station on the Enakyo Line, get off at the observatory, or show the driver directly to the hotel, and you'll just go down the station. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style and very plentiful. The hot springs are average, smell of bleach, the service is very good and there is a shuttle bus in front of the train station and the hotel, but reservations are required. It is a cost-effective hotel for vacations."

"There are supermarkets, cosmeceuticals, and meals near the hotel. There is also a public pool to soak in. Although the hotel is a bit old, it is very clean. There is free coffee on the first floor. Overall, it is very good value."

"A basic hotel with all the necessary amenities for daily use. Ideal for travelers taking the train to/from Ena Station before or after the Nakasendo Trail. The small town offers a pleasant stroll with a few hidden gems to discover. Good for a simple, convenient stay."

"The lake view room has a beautiful view. The room is clean and comfortable. I stayed for two nights. There are many choices for breakfast and dinner. The taste is good. You can taste local specialty ingredients. The dinner on the second night was richer than the first night."
