Hotel Portofino

Nice hotel with swimming pool but which suffers from a glaring lack of maintenance and serious logistical problems (lack of towels in the rooms, hair dryer impossible to plug in because the support wire is too short, fridge missing, etc.). If you like loud bar music at night, ask for a room on the 1st floor.

The truth is that I don't know where to start, I have never found myself in a hotel as unhygienic as this one. First of all, as a recommendation, read the Google reviews since the booking reviews are “better” without going any further from reality. The hotel is shabby which should not be associated with a lack of hygiene, especially when you pay €115 for one night. As soon as you enter the bad smell on the landing, elevator and hallway with the lights out, you can already see that it is a neglected hotel. In the room we see that the towels are wet from the previous client and the sheets have many yellow and brown stains as well as hair...really disgusting. When we ask for it to be changed, they do not apologize and it seems to be normal since the worker is not surprised by the request. They give us the replacement with black stains, so it got worse and worse, so to sleep we had to put towels on top of the sheets because we couldn't sleep because everything was so disgusting. The bed and pillow could have perfectly been taken from the landfill and filled with stones because they were so hard. The dirty and stained walls, as well as the dirty floor, I did not dare to go barefoot. The closet with 4 hangers stolen from any store, some of which put the size on the same hanger and others folded without being able to use them. The refrigerator not working and rusty and “the best” of all: The bathroom. The sink got clogged every time you turned on the tap and you had to remove the stopper; The shower was rusty and the shower head had to be held with your hands since it couldn't stand on its own, obviously the shower was worn with flip flops to avoid getting fungus and the toilet was already the finishing touch to the room. When we flushed the toilet we saw that water kept coming out and to stop it you had to remove the cover where the buttons were and manually pull the levers full of dirt every time you went to the toilet, really disgusting. I guess we should say “thank you” and everything since as I have seen more comments about the hotel we were not lucky enough to also have all kinds of bugs in the room and bugs everywhere. In addition, the pool is not in the hotel itself but you have to go to another building which is overrun with people and the water has a very bad smell for a change, it is obvious that they do not know the meaning of the words: maintenance and hygiene. When we leave they don't ask us how our stay was, they obviously know that it is a disgusting hotel and that they are scammers.

Hôtel bien entretenu, chambres confortables et l’ensemble est de taille humaine. Mon séjour commence par un accueil très sympathique du réceptionniste. Je suis arrivée un peu plus tôt et le check in était prévu pour 15:00. Il m’a proposé de laisser mes bagues si je le souhaitais et de profiter de la piscine. J’ai tout de suite été mise à l’aise par le réceptionniste et on peut compter sur lui c’est une bonne personne. La piscine est propre, il y a des transats intégrés dans l’eau et des jets de massage trop biens! Peu de monde et des transats à l’ombre j’aime trop. Je viens d’arriver je n’ai pas encore dormi mais c’est vraiment joli et un bon rapport qualité prix.

Une halte sympathique un hôtel refait à neuf et propre . Le petit déjeuner un peu cher si jamais vous vous lâchez sur pain au chocolat et charcuterie, le bémol c’est la musique à fond au café accolé ! Très forte - La piscine il faut traverser la route mais très sympa ! Attention pas de parking ! Il faut se garer sur la route !

SALE.....TRÈS SALE.....A L ABANDON... DOMMAGE GROS POTENTIEL !!! Nous ne reviendrons plus jamais dans cet établissement....alors que le restaurant à proximité est génial.... Chambres vieillissantes....mais surtout sans entretien....et très SALE
