"The lady at the front desk was not very nice nor helpful. We arrived at 1:30pm, which I know is before the 3pm check in, but it's usually never a problem to check in early. We were informed that our room was not ready yet and that we would have to pay $30 more for another room that was ready. This place has over 300+ rooms, and not a single room was ready unless I paid more?!?! We worked til 5:30 am and just wanted to lay down and sleep, so we agreed. We asked for a quiet room since we needed to sleep and was working the grave yard again. When we got room our room it was right next to the elevator!!!! Not a quiet room at all as you can constantly hear the binging of the elevator, and here it going up and down no stop. We called the front desk, and the lady said we could vacant the room and wait 1 1/2 for our room to be ready. We asked how another room could not be available, especially after you charged us an additional $30. She said we asked to be upgraded to a bay view, and that's why she charged us $30 more, which was a totally lie.. All I cared about was sleeping, so I didn't care what room we were in or what view we had, I just wanted a quiet room to get some sleep. We explained to her that we work graveyard and desperately needed to sleep before our next 12 hour shift, but she refused to move us and said we could vacant the room. I begrudgingly said we would keep the room, but it was hard to sleep with the noise of the elevator. Same with the following morning, we got back from work around 6am and I had to drive back to Sacramento and didn't get much sleep listening to the elevator all morning. Worst customer service I ever had from a Hilton and will never stay again. I'm so disappointed they would not work with us."

"It was a very happy stay. The hotel is located in a small town near San Francisco. The town is quiet and beautiful. You can see the coastline in the distance outside the hotel window. There are many beautiful shops near the hotel. It is a good place for food, accommodation and shopping."

"The room was very clean and very quiet. The front desk gave me a room on the 12th floor facing the bay. The view was great. What's particularly nice is that the hotel's air conditioner makes very little noise, which is rare. Breakfast is a buffet, just like American hotels. There are no surprises. Unfortunately, it ends too early, at 9:30. Paid parking is $20 per night, which is not competitive. On the day of check-out, I had just washed my hair and called the front desk to apply for a half-hour extension to check-out. The young man who answered the phone refused without hesitation and said that an additional half-hour fee of $50 would be charged. Wow, I had no choice but to pack up my things and check out on time."

"It's a big rural area, but it's close to the Emeryville train station. There's a supermarket in the surrounding business district, so it's pretty good and convenient. In addition, if you go to San Francisco, the F bus at the door will take you across the bridge in 20 minutes to a transportation hub. You can take bus 130 across the Golden Gate Bridge to the seaside town. It's worth a stroll."
