Ibis Marne-la-Vallée Émerainville

I really enjoyed the lobby, the bar area and the breakfast area which are spacious, quiet and bright. The setting is pleasant and you can eat there at any time, and even play a game of table football. The breakfast is extremely varied and of high quality. There are breads, pastries, cakes, waffles, cereals, scrambled or soft-boiled/hard-boiled eggs, sausages, cheeses, ham, compote, fromage blanc, fruit in syrup and fresh fruit, and much more. There really is something for everyone. As for drinks, orange or apple juice, coffee and a variety of teas, water. As for the rooms, they are clean, a little small, but sufficient if you are just spending the night. Everything you need fits into a small but well-designed space. The bedding is comfortable, but the pillows are a little too soft. They do not support your back when sitting, or your neck when you want to sleep. The bathroom is tiny, but again well laid out. The only downside is that there is no non-slip coating in the shower. Special mention to the staff who are welcoming, polite, helpful and who make us feel at home. On the other hand, the big downside is the immediate proximity to a 5G antenna. Being electrosensitive, I felt very tired, had difficulty sleeping and nausea.

L’établissement d’Emerainville a souvent su nous convaincre ma famille et moi même pendant plusieurs séjours mais je ressors avec un sentiment de frustration auj. En effet, l'établissement permet de réserver avec différentes formules : payer directement ou payer plus cher le jour J. Réservation effectuée en octobre pour un voyage en janvier. Nous réservons avec une facture à payer à la fin du séjour. Nous nous attendons à payer une certaine somme. Lors du départ, nous venons payer nos chambres pour avoir 30€ de plus à la facture. La seule explication que nous recevons est que l’Etat à augmenter sa taxe de séjour hier ….. Nous n’avons pas reçu un mot d’excuse, pas de mail pour prévenir la clientèle, pas de geste commercial alors que nous sommes des clients réguliers ! Bien dommage de la part d’une grande chaîne d’hôtel comme ibis ! Envoyer des mails pour avoir des publicités régulières pour cela tout va bien mais pour prévenir les clients c’est visiblement moins important ! Merci ibis ! Je ne suis pas sure d’y retourner la prochaine fois…
