A beautiful hotel with far reaching stunning views! Our room was well equipped with a bath , shower and balcony overlooking the bay. We had a bottle of sparkling rose on our arrival. The staff were friendly but we were especially impressed with the barman Stellios who looked after us very well and made a fantastic mojito! I had several over our stay. The food was well presented with a lot of variety to cater for all tastes. Film night was popular and very enjoyable. The hotel grounds are extensive well maintained and there was plenty of opportunity to relax. We hired a car so we could explore the island. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay . Thanks to all the staff.

My sister and I booked this resort to celebrate our birthdays. Based on the reviews, I knew this was an excellent choice for our trip to Crete. But my goodness, Aquila Elounda Village BLEW ME AWAY! We booked the sea view room and our jaws dropped at the beautiful view! The pictures of this hotel don’t do this place justice. It’s truly a slice of heaven and staying here felt like paradise. Everywhere we turned, someone was ready to help us and make our stay more comfortable. The staff are simply incredible! The valets, kitchen staff, beach staff, and the receptionists are all so friendly and helpful. This resort has amazing breakfast buffets! My sister and I were overwhelmed by choice. Everything we ate was so delicious and the level of detail that was put into the food and drinks here was astounding. The waiters and waitresses are also fantastic. They are quick to help, very helpful, and make the dining experience really lovely. Did I mention the private beach? There is a wide variety of water sports available and so many cozy spots to sunbathe by the sea. I was absolutely amazed by this. There are also so many pools around the resort for those who prefer to swim there. I could go on and on about how transcendent this resort is. But in brief, I enjoyed my stay and I have already booked another stay for 2025! I might come here every year now

Very very nice place! At this time of the season still relatively tranquil but lively. Excellent food and spectacular views! We went to the spa with sauna, hamam and massage - Elena, Christina and Vagelis made it an amazing stay 11 out of 10 😊

Excellent service in the lobby bar supported from Georgios - best bar men in the region. We appreciate the hospitality - the bar has a hugh assortment of different cocktails and local beer - visit Georgios and challenge him with favorites.!

We first visited Aquila Elounda Village in June last year and were absolutely blown away. Everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations — so much so that we considered it one of the very best we’ve ever experienced. We decided to treat ourselves by upgrading to all-inclusive, which gave us the freedom to enjoy the à la carte restaurants as often as we liked. We also indulged in a luxury spa massage, which was, without question, the best either of us has ever had. It was such a memorable and relaxing stay that we knew without hesitation we’d return the following year. As we prepared for our return visit this May, we were more than happy to upgrade again. However, we were recently informed via email that one of the à la carte restaurants will no longer be open for evening service. When we checked the hotel’s app, we also noticed that the lunch menu at Mirabello now mirrors the evening menu at Symposium (formerly Culinarium), which is a disappointing development. Not only is our preferred à la carte no longer available in the evening, but the repetition of menus across two restaurants limits the variety we so enjoyed during our first stay. While we still plan to indulge in another spa massage — as this remains a highlight untouched by the changes — we were disappointed to learn that the Dream Bar cocktail venue is now closed indefinitely. Like another reviewer recently mentioned, what we originally booked and were so excited to return to has changed significantly. It’s difficult to justify spending thousands on a return trip, only to find key parts of the experience have been altered or removed. Naturally, this has impacted our decision to upgrade to all-inclusive this time around. We’re still looking forward to our stay in May, but it’s fair to say we’re going with slightly more tempered expectations.

Unfortunately I’m having to write this review before I’ve even been able to visit the village because I’m receiving absolutely no contact from the resort despite my attempts to contact them about the issues we’ve already had with our booking. My partner and myself are due to go to Aquila Elounda Village in a couple of weeks times and over the past month we’ve had two emails from the company we booked through advising they’ve been informed by the resort of various facility closures. This has included closing one of the a la carte restaurants at dinner time (only open for lunch) which was a shame but wasn’t a huge issue for us. The second email we received was that out of the three bars, two are now closed in the evenings. One of them is open in the day until 6pm and the other is closed entirely. This leaves us with just one bar (the lobby bar) as our only option for our entire stay. The two other bars were the much nicer ocean-facing bars too which we were really looking forward to experiencing in the evening, particularly at sunset, but sadly now can’t. Our choices are hugely reduced and all the guests are now reduced to using just one bar which will likely now be more busy. We’ve spent a lot on this holiday and it’s very frustrating how this has been handled. This has been hugely disappointing as some of the key reasons for us choosing to book here are now no longer available and were changed on short notice. We’re unable to cancel without losing 90% of our money, not that we particularly want to cancel at all. What we booked and paid for is now no longer what we are getting. I also don’t trust that we won’t get another email in the next week or so advising of further closures to the facilities. We’ve had no communication from the resort directly, no apologies, no offers to make up for the closures etc. I have tried over the past two weeks to contact the resort about this on many occasions, through various emails, social media and so forth but I have not received a single response. Because of this, I feel I have to advise others of my experience so far and how disappointing it has been when other reviews have spoken so highly of the resort.

From the minute we arrived late at night the wonderful experience of this beautiful hotel began. Check in was done with ease and a welcome glass of fizz as well as snacks from the midnight buffet. Our room was huge, with a lovely balcony with sea views. Food is amazing, we ate mainly in The Mirabello and Culinarium, the settings in both are stunning. The staff in all areas are the best we have ever come across. Eleni and Nicolette in the Lobby bar were so efficient, funny and just lovely. Zia in the beach bar, Nikos, Athina and Demitrius in the Mirabello and Culinarium, Freedom in the main restaurant and Anni and the tui team were all outstanding. Recommend the Greek night, ****** night, film night ( to chill ) and the daytime quiz. The beach for snorkelling is lovely and the infinity pool gorgeous. This hotel is spotless throughout with beautiful gardens. If you’re going soon I’m very envious!!!

Absolutely 5 star holiday! Location - Elounda Village is one of the most picturesque places I have ever stayed. My friend quite rightly pointed out that every view looks like a postcode. 10 Mins to Elounda town, plenty of bars and restaurants and a cute little beach. We took a locally ran boat trip from here that was amazing - highly recommend, search boat trip Elounda . Gr for the website. Rooms - we had a twin balcony with sea view. Our room was a little dated aesthetically but very comfortable. I think there are more modern rooms but we were happy. We were in 721 right by the beach bar, Mirabella restaurant and very close to the main pool. We were all inclusive so our mini bar was replenished daily. All inclusive - there are items that are not included in the all inclusive package, which at first did irritate me and I thought it felt a bit like a scam. On reflection it is very clearly labelled what is and isn't included and there is plenty of choice if you don't want to pay any more - you are not in anyway encouraged to order these items. Additionally, the staff always point out if you have ordered something that isn't included, which shows that it really isn't a scam! Food and drink - the food is amazing here! We ate dinner and lunch in the a la carte restaurants and had breakfast twice in the buffet. We also paid to attend the lobster tasting menu evening which was really lovely! We found that the Ambelos white and red were our favourite wines along with the Moments rose. Chefs Grill, Culinerium and Mirabella all had fantastic evening menus and Mirabella did a fantastic lunch menu. Staff - now this is where this hotel really exceeds! The staff here are amazing - every single person we encountered made us feel like we were the only people at the hotel. My friend hurt her ankle the week before we came so getting around the hilly location was difficult for her, so when we needed to get up to the lobby or back down to our room the staff chauffeured us in the buggy and it was a god send. When we called from our room for assistance they were there in minutes - nothing felt like too much hard work! When spending the day at the pool the waitress would come and take drinks orders and would remember our order from the following days. It always felt so personal! We were terrible at remembering our room number but the staff new exactly where we were and corrected us on more than one occasion! I wish I could remember everyone's name to personally thank, but I have a memory like a sieve for names! They were all amazing and a really testament to Elounda Village. I appreciate that everyone has their standards but I cannot believe for a second that any of the staff were rude or anything but helpful, so I have to assume the people that made these comments either were a nightmare to serve or just love having something to moan about - we all know people like that! Please ignore these reviews! Thank you for a great relaxing and super fun 5 days in beauti
