Maria really made the trip for us! She was super helpful and kind. She checked when we skipped breakfast if everything was ok, which it was, but appreciated the way she checked in. So friendly. After a dodgy start the rest of our stay was fantastic. We paid extra for a sea view balcony and after the first night's hiccup we had one and it was so nice. I read on some reviews that rooms weren't clean but ours was very. The hotel is a ten minute walk away from the main bustle and that was perfect for us. The hotel was quiet in the evenings, it was October so end of season but that suited us. We had an amazing relaxing week. With secial thanks to Maria!

We stayed in a family room with mountain view which got the sun on the balcony in the evening. It's basically two interconnecting rooms, with a door between the two bedrooms which suited us well as we have two small children. The hotel was clean and staff friendly, but the whole place is lacking personality and atmosphere. There is a bar but it is inside. We didn't eat here so can't comment on the food. About a 20 minute walk to the main restaurants and bars but there are more closer than that too. We spent one day at the pool and it was so quiet (no background music even) that we went and used the pool at a bar down the road which had much more going on.

Arrived late and no hot water for 2 days. Maria the fabulous receptionist/manager sorted it...the taps were the wrong way round so blue was hot and red cold! The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom small but functional but probably needs a bit of updating and a deep clean. The pool area was lovely, quiet and clean but the pool was freezing!! I'm not a breakfast person but seemed to be plenty for all. The staff were amazing and so helpful. I got bitten by mosquitoes so Maria gave me a plug in for my room. Maid came daily and if I left towels in the shower they were exchanged for clean ones. Nothing happening in the evenings so people tended to go out. There is a buffet type dinner available for 15€ however. Nice walk down to the port. I'd say a great place to base yourself and I really enjoyed my stay.

We're do I start at least the room was clean although very tired. We were sold the hotel as 4 star but it's not it's 3 star, the food was disgusting cold every evening. There was one member of staff on restaurant and bar know atmosphere att t all and the bar lady was exceptionally rude and unwelcoming. We spoke to several English quests who thought pretty much the same as us but when telling the manager she said she knew nothing about this. The pool area was very tired the sunbed's were tired and some ripped the pool did not look clean, would not be going back and would not recommend

A very tired hotel. We were in a family room which was bigger than a double room, which was good. Room could have done with being decorated. Some plastering had been done after some remedial works but not re painted, there was mould in a corner behind the dressing table. There were a couple of massive cracks in the walls of the balcony. Mismatched chairs in the room, no full length mirror. The towels could have been a bit bigger, but we're changed when we left them on the floor. Beds were made every day, but not always changed. The pool wasn't as clean as it should have been, sun beds poor quality and not so clean . Pool bar advertised as open daily was never open. The staff were pleasant and efficient but for breakfast, lunch, dinner and the bar only 1 person was on duty at all times.

From the off, the sink took 5-7 mins to empty after running the water, e.g. washing hands, cleaning teeth, rinsing tea cups. Two days on and the sink had not emptied overnight, so when I left the hotel at 9.30am I asked Reception if they could please get someone to sort it out. I got back just before 2pm and was told by Reception that it was done, although they would not say if something had been ****** up from the sink or poked down. Perhaps it is a recurrent problem. During my first shower, I wanted to adjust the height of the shower head holder via the slider as it was far too high for me. As I did so, the whole assembly came away from the wall; I thought this was quite dangerous as it could have hit me on the head or made me slip in the shower. From then on, I just laid the shower head across the shower taps instead of trying to slot it into the shower riser and causing it to fall forward. There was no door on the freezer compartment of the fridge. Also, the rack that holds the bottles at the bottom of the door kept coming off, so I could only use that rack for light items. There were only four clothes hangers in the wardrobe. There was a kettle and a tea tray under the mirror on the ‘dressing table’ area. However, where the tray was positioned, there was not a socket close enough to plug in the kettle. So I moved the tray to the end of the surface so that it would reach the nearest socket, only to realise that the end of the surface was unsupported underneath, making the surface slope down, quite dangerous with a kettle of boiling water on it! I did leave the tray at the end where it could reach the plug (where the blue bag is in the photo) as I did not want to be constantly moving a kettle of hot water, but I was very aware that the level of the surface was dropped and was also unsupported. The toilet seat/lid was a very thin plastic one. The lid would not stay upright unless I pushed against it with both hands at the bottom for a few seconds (yuk) otherwise it would just keep falling forward against my back (again, yuk). The toilet flush had to be pressed a second time after flushing to stop the water in the cistern from running, i.e. the water did not stop automatically when the toilet was flushed. The air con unit was reasonably quiet in the room and worked well. However, it was incredibly noisy out on the balcony when running, so that if I wanted to cool the room down for a short while whilst I sat on the balcony, it was impossible to do so due to the noise. There were a lot of tired and worn areas in the room, such as the bottom of the bathroom door, which looked like it had been chewed by a puppy. It needed a bit of a refresh, really. My room was on the first floor – there was no lift, but the stairs had a turn with a landing, which made it easier to get my suitcase up and down the stairs. However, my room seemed to be on a kind of service corridor: there was certainly a lot of activity up and down the corridor from quite

After 5 years here, we will never be back. We always loved this small charming hotel for its peacefulness, cleanliness and simple charm. Plus the wonderful staff. I don't know what's happened but it's gone to the dogs this year. All the regular staff have left. The room cleaning is a joke. Dirty cups left, shambolic bed making, bathrooms not cleaned. We asked for ice a couple of times in the bar...the woman turned to her friend lolling at a table, rolled her eyes and said "this sucks" in greek...I speak Greek! Last year the waiter would come to your sunbed with a menu and bring drinks. This year you had to go get them yourself...you'd get the glasses from the bar and they can't even be bothered to get the beers from the fridge for you. We've never experienced so much lethargy and rude eye rolling at a hotel ever. My other half walked back from the supermarket with a bottle of coke to put in the fridge and asked for ice on the way up. He was told in no uncertain terms that drinking this illicit coke with their ice was "PROHIBITED!" Bathrooms are not fit for purpose ...dirty, tiny, broken showers. Our grey bathmat was not changed once in 10 days. It's so sad because last year we had the most joyous time here with bubbly can-do staff...this year I felt like a naughty kid on a school camping trip caught with cigarettes! To add insult to injury my friend who came to wish us goodbye was rudely asked "what are you doing here?" The place was very empty and everyone there complained about the cold inedible breakfasts and bad service.

The hotel is well positioned a short walk to the sea, and about a 15 minute walk to the town centre. The biggest asset of the hotel is the staff, the girls on reception particularly in the evening were delightful, very chatty with a wealth of knowledge of the area and places to visit. The rooms were basic but all you needed for a holiday when you are planning on being out and about most of the time. It would have been nice to have a bit more cleaning of our rooms. The sheets were pulled up and the bins emptied daily , our daughter didn’t get her towels changed during the week which would have been nice. The pool was nice although a bit grubby. The breakfast was basic with very little food on offer, empty serving plates were on the buffet area others had one or two pieces of fruit. One of the mornings there was no butter or spread and when we enquired we were told it had run out. We tended to just go out for breakfast. The hotel is fine for a basic holiday.

Avoid this rundown, filthy hotel. We spoke with others who stayed here last year, they too could not believe how it had changed since taken over in the last year. We raised our concerns when another lady was trying to explain that she was unhappy. The receptionist was very abrupt and continued to say each room is the same...which is not true. We paid £300 to upgrade our room....the sea view was the only pleasant thing about this hotel...we had to ask for our bedding to be changed...10 days and changed once. Floor mopped once, sink, toilet etc never touched. We even tool it upon ourselves to clean the room. The bar was closed early evening...the pool area was filthy.
