The family suite on the first floor is outside the large courtyard and faces a large olive tree garden. It is relatively rural and does not have a washing machine. Breakfast can be optional, you can just walk out and eat it in a few minutes.

What can I say…From the minute we arrived to the minute we left was exceptional. We had a welcome gift of wine, water and fresh fruit. The most amazing breakfast with the best fresh fruits I’ve ever tasted. The staff work tirelessly with rooms cleaned daily by lovely ladies with fresh towels daily, bed changed every 2 days with superb pillows. Katrina, Anna, Tony and Maria make your stay here the best you’ll ever have. The pool area is immaculate with pool towels provided. It was my birthday and had a gift of wine, fresh fruit and sweets decorated in a heart shaped towel with flowers. It’s a 5 minute walk to shops, lovely bars and tavernas along the harbour with the best food I’ve eaten. Thankyou Elounda Garden suites for making our stay so special and we will be back.

What an absolutely little gem of a place ! From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome . The staff were exceptional especially Anna and Maria but all the staff worked hard to maintain the exceptional standards ! The rooms were spotless and cleaned every day with fresh towels provided . There was no fighting for sun beds which was a bonus in my book !! Reserving sun beds was a no no and some of the larger hotels could learn from this . Breakfast was splendid with a choice of continental or cooked to order hot food . Lunch was available at the bar and was good quality and value . Will definitely consider returning

We booked this because of the fantastic reviews and it did not disappoint. From our welcome to our goodbye, all the staff were exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble for them and we were always greeted with a smile and a hello. The rooms are spotlessly clean as are the overall facilities. We had the 2 bedroom suite in the annex and it is spacious and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and the cleaning service is excellent. The pool area is very chilled and the sun loungers really comfy, towels are also provided. We also sat in gardens which are pretty and shaded. We paid for breakfast daily and there is lots of choice, you can choose hot food to order. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main town, so a great location too. Elounda itself has a wide range of restaurants all of which were excellent. We visited because I wanted to go to Spinalonga which was definitely worth the trip. There is lots to see in the area, we went to Plaka, Kolokithia Beach and Agios Nikolaos. The trip was brilliant, made even better by staying at the hotel.

We have stayed in many hotels in a long life but both agreed this was exceptional and one of the best. The staff were exceptional from the gardener to the senior management nothing was too much trouble. The suite was perfect and kept so by the staff. Breakfast a joy and ample light lunches first class. A particular thanks to the front of house which went above and beyond in their service. Spoilt for choice in local restaurants. Good cheap bus service and Taxis. We stayed for 10 days and enjoyed every day including the frightening thunder storm.

Peaceful, friendly, relaxed. We have had a great 5 days here after a week in Athens. The welcome is very warm with helpful staff always available. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well provisioned with a kitchenette, smart TV, good AC, and a sizeable private balcony for family breakfasts. The pool was smaller than we had realised - more somewhere to cool off while sunbathing than for swimming in. Smaller kids enjoyed it - but quite strict rules like no diving and no swimming before 10am or after 7pm. The beach is only a few minutes walk so we swam there - and walk to kolokitha bay for some excellent snorkeling with crystal clear water and hundreds of fish. Elounda has many restaurants - every meal was good, and the bill always seems OK with extras like water , bread, appetizer, desert, and raki (local brandy) often provided on the house. Everyone seems to speak English.

We loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and clean. The apartment was spacious and decorated in a tasteful way. The staff were exceptionally helpful; I was pregnant at the time and they let us keep our bags there and have a later check out for our room. When we returned to get our bags to leave, they gave us bottles of water for the taxi journey and wished us well with everything. We had a lovely and special stay here.

Second time at Elounda garden suites from the moment you get there you feel at home , Anna on reception is fantastic nothing too much trouble polite and happy to help , The rooms are fabulous and the ladies who clean them are so smiley and also say hello , Maria at the pool bar happy to bring your drinks to you and it’s a perfect location 5 mins walk to town If you’re thinking of going to Elounda this is the best place to stay and I will be back again next with all my grandchildren Once again Thankyou Anna x

We were visiting Elounda for the first time to go to a friends wedding and was looking for a place to base ourselves for the week. After much research it was clear that Elounda garden suites was the place :) We visited with our 5 & 1 year olds. Upon checking in at reception were were made to feel very welcomed. We opted for a Deluxe 2 bedroom garden suite. This was perfect as we had separate bedrooms from the kids and they could have their own space. The pool although not hugely big was still fine and the kids loved spending long afternoons in it. We opted to have lunch a couple of days again which were very tasty and reasonably priced. The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to the main square which was perfect so you wasn't in the thick of all the noise but still close enough to get to it. The staff are always so friendly and on hand to help with anything. You also get some goodbye gifts to take home which was a nice touch. The room and grounds were always kept immaculate as well which was good to see. If we ever return to Elounda we would not hesitate in booking this hotel again :)
