Ellis Beach Oceanfront Holiday Park

Such a beautiful place , I don’t think it is worth what we paid, I know they were damaged from floods and doing all the cabins up , I just think it would be fair if the crappy cabins are discounted, I know it is the peak season but if this park had no beach it would not be that nice. But a lovely pub across the road staff are so friendly at the park and pub. Great entertainment . I will still be coming back soon with my nieces and nephews and grand parents . I would be happy to pay the price if I stayed in the done up units. Which I have and so worth the price . Anyway it was a great trip thank you Ellis beach park. Also water pressure in shower was very weak and hardly any hot water but the kitchen sink was very hot. . Don’t plan to sleep on a sofa bed if your adults. Not very comfortable but the main bed was beautiful and the pillows weren’t stick. Was very clean as well

We stumble a pond this Ellis caravan park by accident but least to say it was a hidden paradise we had a really enjoyable relaxing time here, we liked it that much we return for our last 2 nights in cairns the staffs were great place was clean on a daily beach front view to wake up too fall asleep to the sounds of the waves crashing palm trees infront of us, camp site was clean and tidy very impress toilet showers and cooking facilities were in great Nic. Thank you team and staffs for your great work to look after the place that makes our stay pleasurable

The caravan park is set on a beautiful beach with clean amenities but unfortunately the ‘site’ we were put on was awful. The only way to describe it was we were camping on the road. Our site was gravel, uneven, noisy and up hard against a retainer wall with a bright light that shone through our window all night. Our car had to be parked partly on the road and our neighbours were in front of us so our view was the back of their Landcruiser. We were on Site 55 and paid $65 a night for a site that barely fitted our 12 foot van. The only thing that constitutes it being a ‘site’ was a power point in the wall and a tap. Great position park, lovely staff but check your site when you book and avoid 55 & 56 - dreadful that they allow people to camp there.

The 2 is for the location only. Very disappointed with our powered caravan site, it was so tight and cramped. On arrival, we weren't given any heads up on how to approach the site to park up, we had to find out ourselves. Luckily we had our remote mover with us. The site was that tight, we couldn't even get our side curtain up, the power box was situated smack bang in the middle of the slab. Ridiculous set up. You can see the distance between our slab and the neighbor in the photo. They've really been very greedy rebuilding after Jasper, and have compromised customer satisfaction and comfort for $. And their dynamic pricing!! Never come across it yet, price went up to $71 a night for the late booking and high occupancy rates. The beach front sites were completely full, seeing that was what we were so looking forward to, we didn't make a complaint to management till we left. I can't believe how I was dismissed, no ownership of the poor management and communication. I was told if we had presented the issue to them, they would have found us another beach front site. There were none!! Not the point. And after giving further feedback, I've been completely ignored. Sites 1-8 seemed ok for space, most likely I imagine original sites. We were right down the end on 20. As locals we will not return. Very disappointed.

Was fantastic setting! Right on the beach…. Nice clean well appointed rooms. Close to the local pub. Friendly helpful staff. Was only one night but was really great for a date night! Woke up to fantastic sunrise watching dolphins swim by close to shore

We are locals and wouldn't travel anywhere else for a perfect little staycation in a perfect little location❤️. You are situated literally on the beach, the hosts are fabulous, the amenities are super clean (I want to hire their cleaners)! The pub next door is perfect.
