The beachfront cabins are a delight with the ocean practically on one's doorstep. Beautiful location nestled within the rainforest. Cabins are clean and comfy, a quiet spot for a restful night's sleep. I have stayed here before and will return again.

Great location. Cabins right on the beach. Clean and well thought out. Great kitchenette with enough to cook the basics. Great full size fridge. Ample shelter from the sun/rain on your big deck, with plenty of chairs. Great service team, nice on arrival and exit. My only issue was that in front of cabin 19 there was some erosion, so some sand bags took away the beach feel and the drainage pipes were exposed. I felt like I was at a work site. It wouldn't stop me from going back, but I wouldn't stay in Cabin 19.

The view was amazing, no argument there. However the cabin left a lot to be desired. Promoted as a "Delux Beachfront Studio", there was nothing "Delux" about it. It was dated and grubby, with cupboards and doors swollen and flaking. The furniture was pretty basic although serviceable. All in all a nice place to stay, but call a spade a spade. There is nothing "Delux" about the "Delux" Studio Cabin and it actually cost more than a one or two bedroom beachfront cabin. Drop the price or fix them up. And change your descriptions because they are misleading to say the least.

Despite booking in May for a September holiday we were allocated a back row site. We were told when booking the beachfront caravan sites were only for small caravans. On arrival we were informed the oceanfront sites for large vans are booked out months ahead for months at a time. The back row sites back onto the road and are very noisy with constant traffic as it is a main road. Our site had no view of the ocean only -a view of cabins. Very disappointing no view and constant traffic noise!

Katrina greeted us upon arrival which was earlier than expected and she offered an early check in to a beautifully presented and clean cabin with no complications, delays or worries. It was such a pleasant breath of fresh air for service. Our stay was absolutely perfect because of the amenities in the kitchen provided allowing us to cook a steak dinner in celebration and share a few bottles of wine that fit well into our midsize fridge. There were multiple dining areas with comfortable chairs, a couch and beach chairs available for use. Our favourite feature was the view from the bed to be able to see the shore and beach and listening to the waves all night long. There were no noisy neighbours although the resort was quite full. Our stay was fantastic from start to finish and can't wait to return for a longer visit. Highly recommend to all FNQ locals, a real treat. Thank you Katrina!

Wow they say beachfront and that is the real deal from your cabin onto the beach so perfect, quiet and relaxed. Staff are eager to help and very good easy book in. Yes saving our money we will be back

If you want ocean front sites this is the place for you. Book an ocean front site and that's literally what you get. It was beautiful. It's on the highway and people complain it's noisy but if you are on the front the pounding waves block most of the road noise The amenities were a bit dated but mostly clean. The reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is because you are a bit tight for space packed in. Can be difficult getting in due to the limited space. There is a bar and grill easy walk along the beach or on the foot path. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. It's handy for Cairns and Port Douglas with palm cove your a few minutes away. Coles at Clifton beach not too far too. A lovely beach stay, I was sad to leave but on to more adventures
