Father of the Groom view. Throughout our stay, from start to finish. The staff worked so hard. Always calm, well organised, with someone always on hand if needed. Staff constantly and discreetly clearung glasses, plates and guest debris, the rooms always stayed looking plush. On the Big Day, on hand to keep everything running on time and on track. Food service from walking the room with canapés to serving Wedding breakfast and Friday morning breakfast was spot on and professional from a well managed young team. We arrived on Wednesday afternoon, a very easy and smooth arrival process. Bar was open for the arrival of guests. Rooms were all well appointed with all your tea, coffee needs. We had a great barbecue style evening family buffet with all the guests. Plentiful and tasty. The sitting area near the bar had the bride and grooms playlist in the background for us to enjoy and chat over. The den was used by several guests through to the early hours! . We started Thursday morning with Sausage sandwiches which were great. Bar opened at 11:30 for a swift one before the main event. The room was perfect for the ceremony. Excellent canapés served with a drink whilst the photographs got underway. Wedding breakfast, served in the Chapel again superb quality. We then had a break with a cocktail hour. The mojitos were great. Our evening entertainment started at 7pm for first dance. We had a short break at 9pm to build burgers before we partied on till midnight. Friday morning, Full English breakfast. Again super quality. Overall a fantastic couple of days and evenings to celebrate with our Wonderful Couple.

We got married at Ellingham Hall in September 2024. We had an amazing wedding from arriving on the Friday night until we left on the Sunday morning. We had a magical time, this was only possible due to the hard work of the team. Our family and friends have all said it was the best wedding they have ever attended, even my 86 year old grandma. We would like to say a special thank you to Matt (deputy manager) he was absolutely amazing and without him the experience would not have been as good. We had a couple of small issues which he gave suggestions how to fix straight away and resolved them all himself, this meant him moving things from the chapel to the ceremony room. He was available for us whenever we needed him. He made the wedding experience stress free and magical. Thank you all at Ellingham Hall for making the Blackburn-Wood wedding so unforgettable, memories we will cherish for a lifetime.

We got married here on the 26th August and it is clear why the team at Ellingham have won so many awards. Their attention to detail was second to none and we left the venue feeling quite emotional as everything was so perfect. We arrived the night before and had a lovely BBQ Buffet with our closest family and friends. Then on the wedding day we literally didn't have to worry about a thing, everything was taken care of and we were free to enjoy our day together. All of our guests commented on the amazing venue, rooms and especially the food! An extra special mention to Debbie who we worked with throughout the entire year of planning, she is an absolute diamond. Also to Matt who on the day helped bring everything together seamlessly. You made our wedding day one we will never forget and for all of the right reasons. Thank you so much.

We first visited in August 2023 with a view to getting married in December and were blown away by this amazing venue! As it turned out we could not marry in December but they were able to offer us a date in March which was above and beyond what they had to do! After another visit for the tasting our wedding went ahead in March and what an amazing couple of days we had. This is not just a one day wedding, there’s a meal for everyone the night before, accomodation for all guests for 2 nights and breakfast the day after the wedding. We had Wendy help us plan our wedding and absolutely everything was planned to a T so the wedding day went without a hitch. The hall itself is stunning, all of the rooms are beautiful and then there are cottages which are 5* plus!! All of our guests absolutely loved their accommodation, the food was to die for and the staff could not do enough. It’s no wonder David, Debbie and the team have won awards……..their wedding experience is THE BEST. It was also our granddaughters 2nd birthday so really was her day!!!…everyone made her day really special and Wendy even got her a gift. There are not enough superlatives to describe how amazing Ellingham Hall and the staff are, you will not find a better venue for your special day.
