Good location, right outside of the buzz of Ella. wonderful hosts. just a tip you can get down to the train tracks right from the guesthouse to get into the town. much easier than taking the stairs. makes the walk about 5 minutes instead of 20. highly recommend this stay! would stay again.

I love how secluded it is from Ella center yet still walkable. Very quiet and peaceful. It’s clean and the staff are so caring and helpful.

Such a wonderful stay at the hill forest cottage. It's pretty far from the main street in Ella and tuk tuk's don't like driving up the hill as it's quite dangerous. That being said, the rooms are beautiful, the view is spectacular and the food is delicious!

Good for value. The location is very good, it’s at end of the town, convenient to go hiking and the restaurants. It’s quiet at night. The room is very clean. The owner is friendly. He gave us a pot of tea to welcome us when we arrive. Also he provided us the bus schedule information and advices for the time in Ella. It will better if there is a kettle so we can try Ceylon tea we bought.

The lodge is about a ten minute walk to the downtown area. Close enough to walk and far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. I walked to the train station from the lodge, which is about 7-800 meters away. The lodge is situated on the upper portion of the mountain with beautiful views of lush mountainous greenery. The staff were very accommodating and tried their best to ensure all of my needs were met.

I don’t think the location is ideal. Cuz it is up to the hill so must use a tug tug every time u go outside. Also there is no restaurant near by. Must go to city and It was concerning. If u have heavy luggage it is hard to go out and in. Cuz it has many stairs. Owner or manager is very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. The view was great tho.

A wonderful place, with a scenic view in 5-7 minutes walk from the city center. The hostess was incredibly kind, didn't demand anything from me when I lost the key; breakfasts are excellent, with a familiar food for the European stomach.

Great service from both brothers. Fantastic view. Great guidance and explanation. We had one brother showing us the temple which you see from your window in one of the two houses. We chose the deluxe version. Wonderful balcony. Location is great for the view but it takes a little to get to downtown. You are actually in Kitalella and not Ella. 800-1000 rupees for a tuk tuk ride to get from Momo to downtown Ella. Overall fantastic experience.
