The hotel was a little out of the way, but a beautiful location, and the owner drove me to the city center and picked me up, and also took me to the train station….all for FREE ! The breakfast was amazing (but way too much for one person). I would stay the again.

This homestay is in a very remote place. The advantage is that you can see the train and there are peacocks next to it. However, the accommodation conditions are only a little over 100 yuan in Hangzhou. The bathroom is simple and there is no chair in the room. Be careful when choosing

The location is quite remote, on the mountain, and it takes a while to drive from the station. The breakfast is quite rich and the service is also good. It can't be considered a hotel, it's just a homestay, and credit card transactions are not allowed

If you want 4* forget this place it’s 0* Very basic and surprisingly very few photos of the outside , I wonder why ? Positives- the young man who seems to do everything checked us in cooked and carried cases . The views - yes stunning , the room no 1 nice except for peeling paint ! Food ok Negatives - bedding tired, balcony chairs old and tatty, NO hot water , railway line runs round the hill on which the place stands , very loud trains . Worst nights sleep on tour , peacocks - say no more !!! Definitely not a resort But if you’re happy to experience this as a change to 4* then do it for one night only !

Kithal Ella station is only a few minutes walk which was very convenient. The host and staff were very attentive and helpful. The room we stayed in (Room 2) was very average. However, room 1 seemed quite chique. The views were magnificent. The food and fruit juices were good. The hotel is up a steep hill.

We had a unique and memorable 2 nights stay at the lovely Dream Catcher Resort near Ella in a place called Kitha ella. The resort is set amongst the scenic serene hills, on one side you can admire the beautiful valley and on the other side you can see the train track and the hills. The location is amazing, far from the maddening crowd of Ella town, yet just 5 minutes drive and half an hour walk to Ella town. Very close to the Kuda Ravana falls and on the way to Ella Rock. The owner and the staff are so welcoming and will do everything to make your stay comfortable. The food cooked was fresh and delicious. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The road towards the place is steep, but nothing a Sri Lankan driver cannot tackle. We had lovely early morning walks/jogs in the vicinity. Night time star gazing was amazing.

This boutique hotel overlooks the railway line and is high up with the most amazing scenery. The owner is most accommodating and couldn’t do enough to make our stay a pleasant one. Even the kitchen staff prepared lovely vegetarian dishes for us. The rooms are neat. The bathrooms however could do with an upgrade.

Exclusive, calm, and hidden gem. Excellent views, from our room. A/C, superb bathroom facilities. Traditional Sri Lankan food and warm, friendly, staff. This is a hotel away from the coach tours, where we were looked after. We shall be returning to this secret hotel!
