Quite disappointed. Website for hotel was a bit misleading, breakfast is had is a separate restaurant so cannot be had on terrace. Very small bathroom with broken showers. A broken safe and very poor air conditioning. The cleaners make extremely loud noise from 7 am till noon, slamming doors and screeching each day. For the price it was very disappointing

City view! Room 101 don’t look at any of the city just of a dodgy ugly air conditioning unit! Lovely room, not a lot of storage but made do, cleaned daily by very friendly cleaner, great location close to everything, great breakfast next door in the old village, all in all great week spent in skala, always chose sea view or street view room

We are here at the hotel now!!! The location is Fabulous and so close to some decent restaurants! Room is spotless , cleaned daily, friendly staff!… Breakfast taken next door at The old village hotel is stunning ! Great choice ! The hotel has a rear garden which is superb for cocktails after a day on the beach !! 3 euros cheaper than bars on the street walking up so worth saving a few Bob here! We are on second floor and easy to navigate with cases as I see some whingers on here!!! I see people complaining about the size of the shower too… unless you are the size of a circus elephant it is perfectly fine…. Fab Place !! Fab Location…. Would have no hesitation to return and stay here .

Excellent hotel. Perfect location, inn the centre of the village, decent size room, air conditioning, comfy bedding very clean and friendly staff. Great value for money. Highly recommend this property. Straight out of the accommodation down the hill and you.re on the beach. Pleanty of Eaton establishments nearby.

The rooms were amazing and very spacious. Our room had an upstairs as well so it tops it off with some space between the adult and the children. The decor is cozy yet professional and the room we stayed in was very clean. The hotel had a restaurant next door which we ate at in the morning every day of our trip. We were also treated nicely by Meme, who was very kind and caring to us always. The food was amazing as well and had huge portions which would fill you up throughout the whole day. The service when we first walked in was excellent. All the members of staff sitting at the desk were polite and very helpful. They gave us ideas of things to do and also told us information and history about the area we were staying in. The location of the hotel was perfect! It was sat in the town near restaurants and shops. It wasn’t particularly busy around the hotel were the town was which made it easily accessible Overall, my experience at the hotel was awesome and super fun. Also is in walking distance from the beach and I have made many memories from staying here.Highly recommended!

A lovely location in the central street of Skala. Don’t let that put you off though as it’s so quiet. Rooms spotlessly clean, we were lucky enough to have the biggest balcony, free air con and free safe and a lovely comfy bed. Would give it 5 stars apart from a few things. There isn’t much storage like drawers for clothes and shelves. The shower is tiny and I mean tiny. If you are a larger person you simply won’t get in the shower. Personally I think they should make these areas walk in wet rooms which would solve the problem if this is possible. Lastly whilst the breakfast was very nice you can only have one cup of coffee or tea which was a little irritating. An extra drink means you have to pay for it. Slightly odd as everywhere else in Skala I have stayed you can have as many as you like with breakfast. Overall a nice stay but for a few pointers.

Would recommend lovely central place to stay, very quiet at night after about 11 ish ,very helpful lady on reception sorted out the shower for us and sorted some breakfast for us before we left, ring to find out what time pick up was for us help with the safe, nothing to much trouble, clean lady always said good morning clean towels every day and room spotless .
