Lagomandra Beach Hotel

The Lagomandra Beach Hotel & Suites is located in a very good location and has all the necessary equipments and facilities for a pleasant holiday. The rooms are clean and have all the amenities. We ate at the Safran restaurant, where we had a tasty and varied menu every day. The restaurant staff was very careful to clean the tables and replace the trays with the food being consumed. The beach is sandy and equipped with sunbeds/umbrellas and the sea water is clean. The staff were very kind and friendly. They worked with responsibility and dedication every day to make sure we have a very good experience.

Summer vacation in Lagomandra Beach Hotel was perfect! Hotel has great concept, everything is so close, the restaurants, beach and pool. From the start, at the reception, it was clear this is one great professional service. There is a beautiful flowers and trees all around. Rooms are spacious and so clean, love it! Whole hotel is very clean, the staff do amazing jobe by keeping it clean and nice to stay. We had all inclusive concept and it was perfect choice. Food is tasty and the offer is great. We enjoyed the most lunch in Safran restaurant, with so nice staff there and perfect service. Pool bar is something special, again because of amazing staff: they are quick, professional and hard working - big respect for this team! Beach is beautiful and clean, just like the sea. We played volleyball and enjoyed all water sports. We had junior suite with sea view and it was enough space for family with 2 children. In the evening, kids played basketball in sister hotel over the road and had great time by the pool with animators. One thing that can be improved is the quality of single beds in junior suite, where kids were sleeping. All the rest is for recommendation and for true enjoy in Greek sea, food and friendly staff. hotel in a very good location right next to the beach, clean inside, food good but in my opinion in the hotel right by the sea, only one baked fish to choose from every evening poorly ,the selection of fruit was very poor, especially since the town where we lived was full of grapes and pomegranates. Organization of the hotel is very good the biggest minus is the loud German youth in the room next door, having noisy parties around 2:00 a.m

We really enjoyed our stay towards the end of September; the hotel was busy but not over crowded which was nice. We were given 2 upgraded rooms on arrival, thankyou! The hotel rooms were spotless, staff came in each day. We had paid for breakfast and dinner which were buffet and main courses changed daily which was really nice. The food was excellent and a very wide choice to cater for all dietary needs, I'm vegetarian and don't eat meat or fish but there was always a main veggie course to choose from and plenty of salads/veg etc to go with it. The meat dishes looked really nice and my husband, daughter and partner all said they were good and it was nice to see many Greek dishes served. We also ate at the restaurant on the beach, where the same hotel staff served; the food was excellent. The staff were all friendly, the pool area really clean and service really good. As we were out of season the sunbeds/umbrellas on the beach were 10 euro's for 2 beds/1 umbrella. Not sure about some of the negative posts on here as I'm quite fussy as far as cleanliness/food etc goes and I couldn't fault the hotel. We did stay in the newer part of the hotel, above the private pools, so maybe some of the more negative posts relate to the older style rooms. We stayed in 824/825, myself and my husband had a suite (upgrade) which consisted of 2 separate bathrooms/wet rooms, 3 large flat screen televisions, a double balcony, separate living room with large comfy settee and 2 bedrooms. We also had 2 largish empty fridges which is a brilliant plus as far as I'm concerned as it meant we could go to one of the 2 shops within the hotel to buy snacks/drinks to keep in our room; my daughter also had an empty fridge in her room. The area is very quiet so if you're looking to go out partying each night it's maybe not for you!

Very Disappointing Experience I expected top-quality services after increasing my budget and paying over €260 per night, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. The other hotels I’ve stayed at in previous years will remain on my list and recommendations. What I Didn’t Like: • Additional Charges: being the first hotel in Greece I’ve encountered with its own private beach, they charge an extra €15 per day for sunbeds. Towels are also an additional €5 each. This is unacceptable given the already high price. • Food Quality: The food was incredibly basic—far less impressive than any hotel I’ve visited in the last six years. There wasn’t even a barbecue option, just oven-baked dishes. After three days, I lost my appetite entirely. To make matters worse, my wife experienced food poisoning, so caution is advised. • Pool Towels: By 4:00 p.m., there were no more towels available at the pool. • Room Hygiene: We had ants in our room every day. Even after raising the issue with the staff, nothing was done. What I Did Like: • The Beach: The beach itself is beautiful, particularly the area on the left under the pine trees. • Amenities at Other Hotel (Spa): like playgrounds, basketball courts, and complimentary evening activities. Overall, I can only give this hotel 1 star, primarily for greedy of owners.

Lagomandra beach hotel is our summer home for the past 6 years! This is the perfect place to spend your summer holidays with family and friends. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The main restaurant and the taverna offer a great variety of local and international food. The staff is always very polite and willing to help with everything . We met there very skilled professionals and now our friends. Just to name a few : Mr. Apostolis ( restaurant’s manager) Diamantis, Lakis , Nikos, Christos, Julia , Mr. Notis ,(reception manager) and Giorgos responsible for the beach area.
