My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at 5 Hermoupolis Concept Sites, and had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend staying there! Christos, the owner, is so helpful, friendly, and nice. Just an absolutely wonderful host. When we first arrived, he gave us recommendations for restaurants and answered any other questions we had. We opted to do the breakfast for an additional charge and it was delicious--fresh bread, some homemade pastry/cake in addition to delicious Greek yogurt and homemade jams. The fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious. The location is absolutely ideal--we walked from the ferry to the hotel with our rolling suitcases. It is only a 1-2 minute walk to get from the hotel to the main square in Ermoupoli. Everything was within easy walking distance from the hotel. We were on the second floor (U.S. third floor) with a balcony and a peak of the harbor. The hotel looks out on the pretty back of the Apollon Theatre, and despite being so close to the main square, it was very quiet. The room and bathroom were both modern and very clean.

Last month we had the pleasure of staying at the Olia Hotel in Mykonos. This hotel is a hidden gem placed on the Mykonos Port hillside, with Greece’s signature whitewashed architecture. Our room was spectacular, and had a small balcony that overlooked the Aegean Sea. When we arrived in Milos, our son had left his dinosaur stuffed animal at the Olia hotel. The staff at the hotel was fantastic! Quickly answering our emails confirming they had the dinosaur. The Olia staff asked where we were traveling next and they had a courier deliver our dinosaur to our hotel in Athens at no charge to us. They made our little boy happy knowing his stuffed animal was going to meet us in Athens. They treated us like gold while we were there and even after we have left. This hotel and staff is truly remarkable and is a must stay on our next visit. Special thanks to the Olia hotel and staff for being so kind and attentive, their special care really made a difference. We picked the Hotel for the convenience of being close to the port, but was overly impressed by the cleanliness, beautiful location and kindness by everyone! They went above and beyond in making our stay wonderful! And for caring for our little boy was priceless! They didn’t have to send the dinosaur to our next location, but they did…. Picked this hotel because of its location being a brief walk to town and arrived to discover a real treasure!! The hotel is decorated like an idyllic greek oasis and the view to the ocean and the sunset are amazing. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the sunset which we made sure not to miss.The pool also overlooks this incredible view. The breakfast selection included some greek specialities as well as a good variety of food.The staff were very friendly especially Angelis who helped with our booking and then gave us many recommendations during our stay. It is a short scenic walk to town and to many good restaurants. The room was spacious and the bathroom had greek apivita body products which I LOVE. This hotel is an ideal base to explore the island and we would highly recommend this hotel.

I found the hotel intimate but so very comfortable. Its location is brilliant, a few steps to the beach and a short walk to the centre if Choro. Bona at reception was kind, attentive and friendly as well as a super-woman who seemed to do everything from cleaning rooms to preparing breakfast! Breakfast was lovely, varied and quite extensive with everything we need to kickstart our day. My 4 nights here on this wonderful island were topped off with comfortable times and a good nights sleep in my room.

The hotel upgraded our room for free. The room was tidy and clean. Because it was the off-peak tourist season, most of the restaurants on the island were closed. We ordered food at the hotel in the evening. The food tasted really good, especially the yogurt. We left the next day. The hotel also specially arranged free airport drop-off service. The service was in place and I was satisfied!

Faultless from check in to check out. I arrived from Athens by plane and got a taxi to Home Sweet Naxos, which was just €20. On arrival I was greeted by a lovely lady on reception who gave me some water and some local Greek sweets. She informed me that the owner had decided to upgrade my apartment of which she guided the way to the room. The apartment was on the second floor (there’s no lift, but my bags weren’t overly heavy so no issue). The apartment was huge, with 2 bedrooms and another room with a sofa bed. Large living area with a massive balcony off it and a further two off the two bedrooms. Breakfast was brought to the room in the mornings at a prearranged time. On the first morning I needed to leave before 8 as I was booked on a boat excursion. Once they knew this they went out of their way to bring me breakfast for 7:20, when breakfast only starts at 8, so that I wouldn’t miss out. Breakfast was plentiful and included breads, cereal, homemade cake, coffee and juice. The day before I was due to check out I asked if it was possible for a late check out as I was catching an afternoon ferry. I wanted ti be able to go to the beach in the morning and to shower before I left. This was no problem at all and I was offered a lift down to the ferry port. I was going to have a bit of a wander beforehand so left my case and would return for it later. The owner arranged to meet me at the port with my case, so that I wouldn’t have to walk back for it. There are a couple of supermarkets nearby and the port and beaches are just a short walk away. I had the most amazing stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or come and stay again. I was show nothing but kindness and generosity. Thank you so much!
