West End Guest House

We stayed for 5 nights at West End Guest House. Those were the best days we had in our entire stay in Scotland. Our room was comfortable and well furnished, and our hosts were wonderfully welcoming! Ross and Blair made our stay memorable. If we return to Elgin, we are definitely staying here again.

Very friendly, very comfortable, relatively central to the restaurants in the centre of Elgin. Good breakfast choices, well prepared and served. Plenty of parking space and access from the back street means that you don’t have the issues of entering & exiting from the main road, the A96. Can thoroughly recommend!

Fabulous guest house, I didn't book the company I'm training with did and it was fantastic. Upon arriving i was greeted by Ross one of owners. Showed me to room very spacious clean tidy bright very welcoming, ordered breakfast for next day stuffed every day, orange juice was tip top. I met Blair the other owner just as polite as Ross I would come back It has private parking around back and exit via back so no messing about, had private bathroom too, I've enclosed photos of breakfast and room. Thank you so much for your never ending food and hospitality.

Excellent location on the A96 in beautiful Elgin, great for distillery visits and the whiskey trails. Secure off street parking. Comfortable, quiet room, breakfast and service excellent. We hope to return before long. Highly recommended.

First class guest house in Elgin. My dad and I stayed for two night when in town to attend a music festival. From the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and looked after. Our twin bedroom was clean, comfortable and modern. Breakfast was great and cooked to order. A great place to spend a few days if exploring Moray - highly recommended!

I have been waiting seven years to write this review, as it has been that long since our last visit to West End Guest House. We arrived for a two night stay and being greeted by Blair was a dream come true, as it meant that we had made it through those dark days of the pandemic and were again able to enjoy the company of these two amazing gents. The house was just as we remembered it, with some lovely updates over the last few years, and we absolutely loved Ross' famous breakfasts (and missed them terribly!). Coming into the house we instantly relaxed from our rather harrowing drive over from Inverness and we carried that peace throughout our stay. Their restaurant recommendations are second to none and we had a lovely meal at a local inn that we are still talking about. Hope to see them in the next few years again! Thank you, thank you thank you for all you do, our angels in Elgin.
