We are close to the settlement but in a peaceful, private setting. The home features a private dock w/ dingy provided for harbour use, wifi, Streaming TV, A/C, and backup generator power. This home can accommodate up to 7 people with use of the sleeping nook and half bath. If your party contains more than 7 people, you'll need more space than Gully's Nest provides. Traverse across the inlet waterway in the dingy provided and walk over a small hill to a gorgeous white sandy beach on the Atlantic side of the island. We also offer tour trips with the legendary Abaco guide, Cap'n Robert Lowe or his wife, Karen. You can also climb our historically famous red and white candy striped lighthouse. It is the last lighthouse in the world that is still manually operated. There is a wonderful museum in the settlement full of artifacts and information of how the island was settled by Carolinian's who came here after the revolutionary war to stay loyal to the queen. You can reserve an "island hopping tour" with us or rent a boat and go exploring our neighbor islands and appreciate each one for their own independent charm or go to one of our national sea parks and snorkel over the colorful reefs full of sea life.
