Hotel Best Sol d´or

We are staying in this hotel at the moment. The hotel staff seem very nice and helpful, one of the staff helped us speak to one of our booking providers to change an excursion we had booked as they didnt speak english. As for the people who are also staying here, it is a very spanish/french based hotel, not very many english and all entertainment is in Spanish as-well. Goes on from 9:30 tilll 11:30 ish every night playing the same songs over and over and over and over again. The walls are very thin and can hear all of the neighbours conversations and also got woke up 3x to neighbours baby crying. The air con in the rooms makes a horrible banging sound every 20:30 mins lasting for around 5 seconds each time which goes on all through the night. We asked for a pool view room on first or 2nd floor and hotel gave us that and were very accommodating. Breakfast is not the best very watered down beans and sausages dont taste of meat. Rooms are very modern and cleaned daily by nice maids. The spanish can be very rude and look down on you as your a minority of the hotel but didnt let it affect us being here. Pool for the kids is beautiful. Not very big but is a good thing as you can see them playing where ever they are. I personally dont think i would return but we have enjoyed our stay so far, just need to fix the dodgy aircon and thin walls

An honest review from a family of 5, including 3 children. I requested 2 rooms on the ground floor, next to each other with a pool view and this is exactly what we got. Rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels and had good air con. One day our daughters teddy was accidentally taken in the bedding and the cleaner had kindly left this at reception. There are also complimentary drinks in the fridge for your arrival. The pools are amazing, the larger pool is warm and both are very well maintained daily. The slides are just brilliant for kids and bigger kids too (adults) :) There was always 2/3 lifeguards on duty and they were quick to assist when our daughter cut her elbow. At 1230 each day there is a very good energetic aqua aerobics which everyone gets involved with. The sunbeds were all perfect and there is no mad rush as the pool opens at 10, I queued out of choice around 0935 and no problem. Food is plentiful and there are themed dinners each night and the staff work very hard in the restaurant. We never had to wait for a table as went around opening time and a large bottle of water is only €2.40 so we had this every lunch/dinner as full board. Breakfast has coffee and juices included. The evening entertainment starts with a kids disco at 2130 lasting 30 mins and yes it’s in spanish but your in Spain. The team work very hard and it’s very enjoyable. The beach and promenade of shops are a 5 min walk away. All in all a fantastic holiday and didn’t want to leave. Remember this is a 3 star hotel if you want 4/5 then pay for it, but this exceeds a 3 star in my opinion.

After the bad reveiws we were worried about our trip but what a wonderful surprise we all had . On arrival we were welcomed by reception staff and got our cards to our room which was on the pool side on level 5 . The rooms were lovely spacious and clean with the cleaners coming in every day to clean and replace towels. Foods was lovely plenty of choice for everyone especially as one our children is has autism so is really fussy. We were all inclusive so we had unlimited drinks and food . Only thing I would recommend is for the hotel to have a list of all the cocktails which are included on the all inclusive . Other than that I cant fault the staff as they are all helpful and friendly. The pool was clean and lovely and the kids loved the slides the pool is looked after and was alway a sun lounger available as the pool opens at 10 am so no getting up early to lay towels on the loungers The hotel is rated 3 star but would say definitely a 4 star we are a family 5 ( 3 teenage boys) they all loved it . Beautiful hotel , beautiful resort 5 min walk to beach and shops

For those who doubt or are not sure about choosing this hotel, for those who find problems even in 7 star hotel in Dubai, you can search further!! And for the rest, without any unrealistic requests, this will be the best option. The location of this hotel is brilliant, it's very close to the beach and has a lovely promenade with a variety of shops. After the renovation, this hotel looks nice and fresh. Everything is clean and spotless. Straight on the arrival (family of 2 adults and 2 kids), we had late check-in, and we've been greeted by a lovely guy on the reception. After all the paperwork was done, we were offered dinner at a restaurant, and that was already 10pm. We had a half board option (Breakfast and Dinner). Some people mentioned that there were not many options in the menu, but I can say that you have to be completely blind if you don't see that there is a pretty decent variety of food, especially at the dinner time. This is a family orientated hotel, so please expect some delays in the restaurant, especially at the high season. And this is not a hotel fault. It's an absolutely natural thing. The pool side was great. Our little fella was absolutely happy by using water slides and swimming in a main pool. There were a big number of sunbeds. Staff are great, very nice and helpful. Guy name Victor was walking around and asking people, is it everything OK? I think that management really cares about their customers and do everything they can. Overall, we're very satisfied with our stay in this lovely hotel and would be considering to come back in the future.

Perfect for families. Excellent food. A lot of space around the pool.pool open at 10 breakfast service till 10.30 so you can get nice sleep by morning.Only one minus that is a que on restaurant for pancake's or frying eggs. The all was perfect Also if you are all inclusive you can buy drinks etc from a bar 70% cheeper. The beach quite close to the hotel with lovely sand.

Had a lovely time at this hotel. Very friendly staff, lovely rooms, super bathroom and everything so very clean. Restaurant serves great food, they even had sugar free ice cream. Never been to a hotel that has suggar free ice cream. Drinks were pleany and even suggar free soft drinks. 2 advises for the hotel: 1. make sure the fift to diningroom always works otherwise disabled guests cannot get there. When I was there in september 2024 the lift was out of order several times. 2. Make a railling where guests can hold on to when they want to go to the upper part of the garden to lay under the pine trees. This railling will also help [eople to hold on to when they come from the upper harden.
