Santorini Village - Hotel Boutique

Looks were sure deceiving when it came to this place. I would not recommend it at all. The pool was dirty, the AC was not working properly, not much to do. This place was run down. I left and I didn’t care if I got refunded or not. I was not pleased and ended up leaving an hour after arriving and finding a better place to stay.

Horrible hotel, couldn't leave fast enough. So dissapointed by this hotel. For the price we paid (£230) for 2 nights, we were expecting somewhere much, much nicer. The property may have looked like the photos a decade ago, but it has clearly not been looked after for a very long time. The pool looked disgusting so we didn't use it once. The room was dirty and with cracked and faded paint. The only redeeming feature was that the A/C was effective in our room.

The staff is very friendly, the place is very clean. The only bad thing is that their pool doesn't work.

No breakfast as advertised. Air conditioning did not work. Pool was green and un usable. Also no hot water. And located not near anything.. Place has potential but needs some upgrades

I was in the room les than an hour, full of spiders, giant ants, and roaches. I killed many of the bugs with my repellent (finished a new bottle). I pulled the night table because it was full of bugs. I spoke with the host, she had someone go with a bug spray bottle and told me to stay out of the room. I told her i want my money back because there is an inch gap under the door and more bugs will come in. She offered me another room but she said all her rooms have bugs including lizards/geckos. I asked for my money back and she refused to do the right thing. Also when I arrived she gave me a room with no AC and no bathroom/shower and said breakfast is not included. I was riding uber with a giant luggage and didn’t want to look for another place but the bugs was the last straw! Give me my money back!

TL:DR: DO NOT STAY HERE. This place ****** to be honest. Keeping this review short, the room I booked for myself and three of my friends was a bunk bed with a queen bed. When we got our room it was a bunk bed and a full bed. Not what was promised and paid for. The “one minute walk to the beach” is a lie as it’s actually a 7-10 minute walk down about seven or eight blocks. If you try to go behind the village and directly to the beach, it’s apparently just a river or something, so you can’t enter the beach that way. Our room was dirty and the pools at the village were gross. My bunk bed literally had spider webs on the corners. The WiFi also just does not work. I was excited to finally have a good internet connection but I get one bar, if any connection at all, from my room. The free breakfast was made up of the worst bread and coffee I have ever eaten, some scrambled eggs, and two plantains. We saw a sign advertising an all you can eat breakfast for $8 and laughed and we had to look around for a single worker to even be served our “free breakfast” that was included with the booking. My roommates and I solely booked this place because it was the closest to the beach and cheap, but I promise you, DO NOT STAY HERE.
