El Segundo Hotels with Gym

Our plane arrived around 8pm at LAX. We were told to call for shuttle after picking up our luggage which we did. After my wife (69) and I (72) stood and sat in 46 degree weather for about an hour and a half the shuttle finally showed up. And it passed right by us about 45 minutes earlier. We finally got to our room and in bed around 11pm. We had to rise at 3am for a 5:40 flight, so we didn't get but around 4 minus hours of sleep. Absolutely ridiculous that anyone much less senior people had to wait that long for a shuttle to their hotel. Worst time we have ever had with a hotel stay.

Unfortunately I had to change rooms twice! The first room was next to a noisy ventilation/ac machine, I did not even unpack my case. The receptionist kindly moved me to another room, in fact it was more like an upgrade. I unpacked and I had half a pizza from early on. I had put it on the side next to the tv. I went to get a slice and the whole of the tops of the cabinets had ants all over it. I had to get out of that room. They gave me a complimentary breakfast for the next morning. They obviously have an ongoing problem because they have other reviews exactly the same as this.

Very nice and quiet, staff is very friendly. The room is very big and spacious and clean and the bed is comfortable. You can Bluetooth your phone to the bathroom mirror and listen to your music.

I recently stayed at Fairfield Inn El Segundo. While I appreciated the convenience of the location and the heated swimming pool, which was perfect for relaxing, I was disappointed with the room. It had a noticeable smoke smell, which detracted from the overall experience. I hope the management can address this issue to ensure a more pleasant stay for future guests.

Beautiful location!!’ Beautiful room!!! Great staff!!! Very helpful and welcoming…somewhat pricey but WELL WORTH IT! The food is great! Fresh and hot!!! It’s truly a wonderful place for a staycation…only minutes from the beach…very quiet neighborhood…perfect atmosphere for a peaceful getaway

The room is not far from the airport, and the facilities are generally newer than the surrounding hotels. But the room has a smell, I don't know if it is due to the new decoration. Parking is paid at the hotel and free on the roadside.

The location of hotel is pretty close to LAX airport, only take 5 or 6 stations to there. It's also very convenient with Starbucks, 7-11, Ralphs supermarket and in-n-out burger,...so on. Basically, you don't need to worry about eating at all. Price is cheap. The most I appreciated is about the service. When I arrived and check-in like 10am, the reception didn't ask me to pay for additional ”early check-in”. It's was amazing. (I paid this in my previous experience in other hotel) By the way, each half hour, there is a free shuttle from hotel to airport. Awesome! Definitely, I suggest you to book this hotel once you are looking for a stay in LA.

It started off promisingly, with a smooth coordination for my pick-up at LAX, which pleasantly exceeded my expectations and set a hopeful tone for my stay. However, that initial positivity quickly faded. When I entered my room and opened the curtains, I was met with an unsightly view: a construction dumping site littered with open garbage bins and, shockingly, an exposed toilet. The thought of starting my mornings with coffee while staring at such a view was less than ideal. The next morning, as I tried to enjoy my coffee, the scene outside was impossible to ignore. I found myself unable to finish my coffee and went straight to the reception desk, feeling quite frustrated. I explained the situation to the manager, expressing my disappointment and requesting a different room. To her credit, she did her best to help by offering a room one floor up. While I appreciated her attempt, the ‘solution’ barely improved the situation. The same eyesore remained directly below, and I found myself avoiding the view entirely by only looking up at the sky instead. What could have been a comfortable, relaxing stay turned into one filled with frustration and disappointment. While the staff made an effort, it didn’t change the fact that each morning started with a grim reminder of the inadequate environment. The experience left a sour aftertaste, overshadowing any positives the hotel had to offer. With all of this in mind, I’m giving 2 stars. Sadly, I won’t be returning and would not recommend this experience to others.

It's pretty good. Although there are only a few breakfast items, there are plenty of mixes and matches, but there are not enough seats. It is recommended to go there early to eat. It’s also convenient if you have a car, and it’s 30 US dollars a day over night. Just near the highway, it's convenient to go anywhere.

Hotel was ok but very clean. Everything was tagged when disinfected due to the COVID-19 pandemic so that was very mind easing. I stayed there while construction was going on bc they are remodeling. It was noisy during the day bc of that so I checked out before checkout date. The staff there was kind and friendly. Special thanks to the front desk guy at night (don’t remember his name) for changing my daughter and I from a conjoining room to a regular room with no conjoining doors. I expressed that bc I am a woman, & it was just me and my 12 yr old daughter I did not feel comfortable with it and he switched our rooms WITHOUT HESITATION. Thank you sir! I wish I remembered your name!
