Super food in the restaurant combined with excellent service from all the staff there Paco, Luis, Juan and Anna. Everyone here could not have done more for us. The whole building is fascinating and has been tastefully converted from the bodega it once was The rooms are interesting and comfortable. Of particular note are the inside restaurant which has a great atmosphere with it's high roof and other features. Situated a bit far from the town centre if your walking is not too good. However the train station is close by and there are useful bus services from there too which means you can get around the locality by other means.

Recently returned from a lovely week at this gem of an hotel. The staff are all helpful and friendly, nothing seems to be to much trouble. We booked a half board week with Jet2 and the only downside was the Jet2 menu became quite repetitive offering the same five options for starter/main & dessert for seven days starting on a Monday, also no vegetarian option on the main course the week we stayed, although you can of course select from the al a carte menu at an additional cost. The port of Santa Maria is a lovely area and feels safe to walk around at any time. Transport links are excellent with the train station being a five minute walk away. It was the first time we feel that we have experienced the real Spain and hope to return soon

Lovely spacious hotel with friendly staff. Good food and service. Well located for the train station to allow exploration of Andalusia and the local town. Can also recommend the wine tasting at the castle.

The place is very nice. Traditional Spanish but good quality furnishings. The best thing are the staff they are excellent especially the girls on reception who go out of their way to help with any issue you may have. The girl in the bar / restaurant who does breakfast is unbelievable ! she works non stop, is very efficient and nothing is too much trouble and always has a smile. Once the rooftop pool and seating area is finished it will become even better. Could provide tea making facilities in the rooms and better drawers for clothes storage.

A great hotel in great part of Spain with easy access to Cádiz, Jerez, Seville etc. The hotel includes a charming restaurant where we enjoyed some fine meals and great service from Luis. The hotel is a short walk from the centre of Puerto Santa Maria which packed with bars and restaurants.
