Overall this place did the job. We just needed a break while traveling cross country. The check in was smooth. Location was great so we could just hop back on the interstate and tons of stores and restaurants near by to stock up for the next leg of our trip. Room was decent not the cleanest but it is a motel and was only there for the short amount of time so it's bearable. Overall decent place to stop for a night.

Unfortunately there had been a reservation error and the hotel was without vacancy. I had just gotten into town late (after a long travel day) and was not in the mood to hear there was no room. Angela (the Lady at the front desk) listened to me gripe and without returning my frustration was able to free up a room. Words cannot express how impressed I was with her customer service and professionalism. JR

After wandering the streets trying to find an open bar, we stumbled upon the plaza hotel. Bryan was awesome! Our first interaction was met with water for the whole table and a drink menu. He was so nice, attentive and funny! He had great drink recommendations and humored us in our search for a Fireball shot. Thank you Bryan, for your impeccable service!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Paso Del Norte and it has been one of our favorite hotel stays of the year! Everything was great: the service, the room, the amenities, and the location. We have stayed at a few historical hotels like this one but this one stands out the most as they did such a great job in renovating the rooms but also preserving the character of the hotel and its history. We highly recommend having a drink in the stunning lobby bar and having Sunday brunch at the hotel restaurant. The hotel has a small pool and deck area and it does get crowded but we enjoyed it early in the morning after a workout in the well-equipped gym with views. We also found the staff very friendly and helpful. They gave us ice water to go after breakfast after hearing about our day's plans to explore and reminded us to stay hydrated. Thank you for that!

We stayed here twice, coming and going on our eclipse road trip. Arriving the first time, the desk staff said that our reservation had been cancelled! (Apparently I had inadvertently booked through a third party, and for whatever reason, they'd cancelled it.) Not to worry, Ray and Ron at the desk got us a room anyway. It was quiet and comfortable, though reaching for the toilet paper is a stretch! Also, the French toast for breakfast is outstanding! Because of the snafu that first night, I cancelled the return reservation with the third party and made a new one with Ron for our return before checking out. Ray greeted us by name when we returned!

I saw pictures in Hotels.com and seemed like the typical quality rooms of Holiday Inn which made me reserve without looking further, to be honest, big mistake. I got a suite because I wanted to have a very nice room, I arrived to this place and the guy from front desk was I don’t know where but it took him like 15 minutes to comeback and finally check me in, he was nice but explained me the maze I have to cross to get to my suite. When I arrived oh my god, the cigarrette smell was so disgusting, but we arrived so tired that I didn’t complain. Then this suite had the living room and the kitchen in the first floor and it had a love motel like circular stairs to get to the bedroom, which was tiny, I hated that I had to carry our bags to a damn circular stair, this is horrible. Totally disgusted by this setup, and it looks dated and ugly. Won’t ever comeback to this place. Horrible suites.

First time at this location, just everything you’d expect from a HI. Clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly service. At this location we got upgraded to a suite and were give a snack bag upon arrival. The only thing we notice was it was a bit noisy, all the hall noise and upper room could be heard… we thought it was weird we were on the 3rd floor, room 310. Business didn’t go as planned and had to stay another day, this time we got a room on the 2nd floor, room 204, maybe just our luck, But the room above us I believe, super noisy, just seemed like kids were running everywhere, or really big folks moving furniture , don’t know!!! again strange since we have been using holiday inn after we switched from La Quinta brand 2 years ago, and never never had a bad experience at the Holiday Inn, but this particular location seems to have a noice filter issue!!. Other than that…. This location is right by the shopping area we usually visit, super friendly staff, i got all my paperwork printed for my business with them, the rooms are really clean, the food is good, the beds are comfty, you can’t go wrong with Holiday Inn.

Stayed her one night as it has great proximity to Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The room was a standard Fairfield configuration and was clean. We noticed there was no soap provided in the room. When we called down to the front desk, they said they were out of supplies and they suggested that if we had brought our own personal shampoo, to use that as an alternative. Things did not get better when we went to breakfast. They were out of milk and creamer for coffee. Had not hot breakfast options and just a few packaged muffins, hard boiled eggs but no fruit (not even bananas or apples). The told me at checkin, since their occupancy was low, they would put us on the ”quiet side”. We locked out and could see train tracks. So we though maybe the highway noise was louder than the train. It was definitely not quiet as trains consistently passed by through the night. I inquired to General Manager Kelsey Swanson, but was told that ”supply chain issues” were to blame, and that their hands were tied. We checked-out and headed for Carlsbad Caverns. As a Gold Elite member, there was no recognition during the stay and essentially we were told to ”get over it” and due without soap inthe bathroom or any passable breakfast for the rate.

Excellent
KKENNETHJIAI have stayed at this hotel many times, and I have stayed at ElPaso because it is close to the airport and the surrounding traffic is convenient. The parent company, which is bigger than it, also lived, and felt that it was not as comfortable as it was too old. For so many years, Ctrip has not changed. The hotel is only 350 meters away from the airport, and it takes a few minutes to walk, not the 4.6 kilometers mentioned above. I uploaded a screenshot of Google Maps this time, hoping to correct it.
刘刘The hotel is very good, the lobby and the rooms are very clean, the breakfast is great and very rich, the attitude of the waiters in the lobby and the restaurant are very enthusiastic, stayed for a few days, very good value for money Recommend
GGuest UserI prepaid and booked the hotel for 2 nights. I did not check-in the 1st night of my reservation. When I tried to check-in the 2nd day of my reservation, I was told that my booking had been canceled even though I had already paid for 2 nights. The hotel assistant manager asked to see the card i used for the reservation and charged me another $74 for the room I had already paid for. I am.now waiting for a refund from trip.com since my booking was honored.
GGuest UserThe room had mold, holes in the wall smelled like smoke. The worker Jocelyn refused to do a refund. They messed up the names on the reservation after confirming, they gave a huge run around rather than fix the issue. I am still pending my refund but you better off staying in a ditch than this placeUpdate:manager is dodging calls and still has not issued a refund, but will continue to follow up until issued already reached out to corporate but will do it again.
SSandra MarieLoved my stay the room was so! clean the services was great whenever I come back to El Paso I will definitely book a room here and I will let my family and friends know
GGuest UserThe staff was very friendly and professional when we arrived at 11:30pm. However the 3rd floor hallway carpet was torn and peeling up in parts, which I was ok with, but the hallway had a strong urine smell...which is pretty gross. Room was clean. We were tired and left at 5:45am to continue our road trip. I was traveling witih my son, if I was with my wife, we would have gone to a different hotel.
台台灣好棒The hotel facilities are average, even a bit old, but it's fine for general family vacations. The location is on the corner of El Paso, not a lively area but the hotel charges are cheap.
GGuest UserI was a bit nervous upon seeing the property but once we gave it a chance we definitely didn’t regret the decision. I especially enjoyed that there were tons of families out near the pool area and the staff was very helpful
GGuest UserThe hotel is under renovation, so the entire property looks bad. The room we stayed in was dirty. It looked like the beds had been made and towels placed in the room, but otherwise, no cleaning had been done. The floors were dirty, with crumbs and stains on the carpet and loose hair and dirt on the tile. The broken bar of soap on the edge of the bathtub alerted us that the tub was dirty, so we skipped taking a shower in that room. Although it was a non-smoking room, it smelled of stale tobacco smoke. There were loose sugar and creamer packets on top of the microwave. Outside, there was trash scattered all over. Yes, we realize that the property is being renovated, but this is not an excuse to leave trash on the ground. We stayed, but only because it was late and we did not want to risk being unable to find another room. The clerk when we checked in was polite and professional. That's the best we can say about this location.
