Hotel Refugi Dels Isards

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel which is very clean and very welcoming staff and I think we will return there for our next stay because we really like it is above all very well located we have all the conveniences next door which is pretty good in terms of hygiene everything was perfect nothing to say in any case thank you for everything is soon I hope. ☺️☺️☺️☺️

We have been this weekend (from February 23 to 25) at the Hotel Refugi dels Isards and it has been quite a disaster. To say that we made the reservation more than a month and a half ago, so I don't understand what happened. By parts: Room: I dare say that one of the smallest rooms we have been in, or perhaps the smallest. It seems a real shame to me that they put 2 people in that room (Maybe it was a single room before). For more details, ROOM 116. The bed on one side, attached to the wall and on the other side, there were barely 30 centimeters left. That is, the person who sleeps on the side of the wall, to go to the bathroom at night has 2 options, either jumps over the other person or has to slide **** to the foot of the bed to get out. The bedspread was torn on the sides and the bottom sheet, needless to say, how old it was. I mentioned before when we made the reservation and it was precisely for that reason... that we did not understand that they put us in that mini room when there were more options given the advance notice with which we made the reservation. Literally moving 2 people through the room at the same time was completely impossible because of how small it was. Also, a mini-window (half the height of the rest of the rooms) that to look out of, you had to stand on top of the bed. Location: Nothing to say, perfect. Just over 100 meters from the slopes. Service: Good, without further ado. Restaurant: VERY fair. A buffet very lacking in variety and you also cannot serve yourself, which is normal in a buffet. We hope that they contact us (they have our information) and return part of the paid reservation, since in the photos they have on their website and in several others, the rooms are ALL larger.

The furniture is very old. I found a cigarette butt on the floor of the room. The mattresses have a plastic cover and you sweat at night. The breakfast cereals were stale. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I went to this hotel while doing the HRP (trek from Banyuls-sur-Mer to Hendaye), well the town of Pas de la Casa is very ugly and it is very difficult to get supplies on a trek! The hotel is not very modern but there is everything you need for one night. I appreciated being able to leave food in the fridge, the staff is pleasant. The breakfast could be a little more substantial for someone who is on a trek, it's a bit light (not an all-you-can-eat buffet) but the 2 small pastries were excellent even if I would have taken one or 2 again. Overall it is a very decent hotel.
