I booked this cottage for four nights, expecting a smooth and enjoyable stay. However, upon arrival, I was informed by the receptionist that my booking had been canceled. I had never received any confirmation of this—not from the booking platform, nor from the owner.
When I asked for proof of the cancellation and a confirmation that I would get my money back, the receptionist could only give me the owner's phone number. After multiple messages back and forth with the owner, I am still no closer to a resolution. Weeks have passed, and I have yet to receive my refund or even an official cancellation confirmation.
To make matters worse, when we asked if there were any available rooms, we were told that everything was fully booked. This left us scrambling for a last-minute alternative, forcing us to book a much more expensive hotel an hour away.
This experience was incredibly frustrating, unprofessional, and costly. If you’re considering staying here, be aware that communication and reliability are serious issues. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
