Last Frontier Beach Resort-Adults Only

Everything was really decent , the people the service and the sunset. I like the bar music and the private garden. Everything was perfect till we found BED BUGS. Which is totally not acceptable. We paid this premium price and what we got was BITTEN BY BUGS when we slept which is the worst experince AT ALL. My boyfriends even got like 10 plus bugs bites when he woke up.

Beautiful location with great view of sunset, close to El Nido town. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We went for our 20th anniversary and were greeted with a beautiful flower arrangement and wine in our room. The atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back, with beach just a few feet from our room.

This is a lovely smallish property located on a prime position right on the water at Corong Corong Bay in El Nido. There's only 10 bungalows so it really feels like you're staying in a family owned boutique hotel. Rooms are rustic but comfortable. Nice bed and bathroom. Could hardly ever get any warmth out of the shower but didn't really matter. Breakfast for us was disappointing, limited options and not at all generous . We ate elsewhere most days. The restaurant though is beautifully located on the waterfront and we loved having happy hour there by the pool each afternoon to experience the magnificent sunset. It really is all about the location here, there is room for some improvements but would definitely recommend.

Visited the restaurant on three evenings. Fabulous location, service and great food. Excellent value for money can highly recommend. Menu is well presented with a good choice of dishes. The waitress staff were really on the ball and knew their job. Super helpful and friendly. Of all the restaurants on Chong Corong beach the Last Frontier is an absolute gem.

We spent 6 nights at the Last Frontier Beach Resort. It is a great little gem located in the Corong area of El Nido. The location is right on the water and a short trike ride to El Nido. The property is adults only and comprised of mostly individual cottages and a few suites and standard rooms. We occupied the suites while the majority of our group stayed in the cottages. All of the rooms are great, charming, well maintained and we would most likely choose the cottages if we were to return. The grounds are lush, tropical and peaceful. Close to the beach is a wonderful pool and lawn area overlooking the ocean where the 7 in our group spent each morning sipping coffee and in the evening gathering for cocktails while watching the sunset. The restaurant is very well staffed and the food is delicious. Judith and her crew work very hard and did a great job meeting our needs during breakfast, happy hours and dinners. They are very friendly, a pleasure to be around and super attentive to any request you may make. Diana and Weng did a great job at the front desk and were able to assist with tour arrangements, massage appointments and a whole host of other requests with ease and grace. For our farewell dinner Diana was able to arrange for a traditional “Boodle Fight” feast on the beach for our group which was amazing. We left the Last Frontier with the most amazing memories and pictures of sunsets and highly recommend the property to anyone visiting El Nido!

Last Frontier is a quiet, adults only hotel which is exactly what I was looking for. My room was so spacious and comfortable. There were many mosquitoes but having the mosquito netting kept them at bay, thankfully. The airconditioning and WiFi were great, having the beachfront restaurant all day. It was beautiful and I would recommend it.

We stayed at Last Frontier Beach Resort in El Nido in early January 2024. The beach cottages were comfortable and clean. The views of Bacuit Bay exceptional, especially for sunsets. The staff, with Weng, Vanessa, and Dianna, went out of their way to make us feel at home and fulfill any requests that we might have. We visited other beach resorts at El Nido, and if you want a small, quiet boutique resort with private cabins, rather than a large hotel with the usual hotel-type rooms, then Last Frontier Beach Resort is the place to be.

An excellent choice with 10 bungalows situated on the El Nido waterfront. There is a nice little pool to cool down and an all day restaurant/bar. Most of the boat trips seem to leave from this beach so all very handy and also close to shops and local transport. Food was excellent and the staff were great. Enjoy……

We had a very pleasant 4 night stay at Last Frontier. I can happily recommend them if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Corong Corong Beach. Good: -Terrific and always smiling service from the staff. -Well-equipped rooms, including an espresso maker for the coffee ******* amongst us. -Great breakfast which I looked forward to each morning. -Good location in the center of the beach that is just perfect for sunsets. Could be improved: -Wasn't clear from the website that the suites are on the second floor. We would have preferred to be at ground level. -We were not informed on checking in that we needed to request that they make up the room and it took us a day to figure it out. -The price is on the high end for El Nido but our experience was most everything was a bit more expensive than expected in Palawan. Overall, we were quite happy with our stay at Last Frontier.
