By far the best experience of our entire trip was riding the horses. One of our guides named Januar was the friendliest, most welcoming person ever that made the experience 10x better. He makes me want to come back to this place and tell others about our experiences here and recommend Rancho Santana!

Rancho santa is lovely. The spa is amazing. All of the staff are lovely people. It is safe and clean. There are lots of great activities like surfing, biking, hiking, yoga. It is great for kids or adults. Slightly challenging for older people if you are in a casita or house that is up a hill. But the inn villas are better for them.

Januar is an amazing guide. He was so kind to our family and shared many interesting facts about the area and Nicaragua. Moreover, he helped each of our 3 girls with individual instruction and tips making them feel comfortable. I highly recommend making time for a ride at the Ranch!

Spacious and well appointed, ocean front rooms. We stayed in The Residences, a short walk to the Inn. The Food was delicious. We spent our days surfing, fishing and exploring the ranch on bikes. The staff is warm and welcoming. Everyone we met went out of their way to make sure our stay was above and beyond what we had envisioned. The surf instructors were all patient, enthusiastic, encouraging and kind. 10 out of 10 vacation. Drive to Rancho from Managua Airport is about 2.5 hours, so just be prepared.

My wife and I have had a wonderful trip here and we decided to treat ourselves to a couples massage (which was amazing). I did the Athletic massage by Joanna which was great and had really good and strong pressure. My wife did the wellness massage by Milena and it was a lighter pressure massage which was perfect for her.

The resort is beautiful- amazing detail to furnishings and gardens. The food is excellent with a good variety. It is family friendly with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The spa experience is surreal, complete with plunge pools and treatment rooms in the trees with a constant ocean breeze. Highly recommended!!

Januar at the horse riding was an absolutely amazing guide, and he was very kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. The ride was safe yet thrilling, and certainly a memorable experience that I will treasure forever! The horses were very well trained and gorgeous!
