We thought we’d treat ourselves to a stay in a spa, unusual for us to spend like that. We arrived- the riad had arranged a taxi for us, probably more costly than a petit taxi but were new to Morocco and transport. The interior is light and contemporary, with nice rooms and very bad art on the walls, undoing what I thought was pretty good taste. Because the room faced the street it was quite noisy and bright- the newish window have no coverings. The staff were great, especially Asama, the breakfast pretty standard for Morocco- I hope that there can be some differences made because after we week in Morocco I am very tired of an omelette and pretty bad bread. Wifi very dodgy, TV had 3 channels (all showing the Pope funeral…)or so and offered DVDs (!) but the player did not work. It was very quiet in El Jadida- be warned, there is not much to do unless you want to take a surfing lesson. The Portuguese cisterns have been closed for 8 months and I suspect for at least another year. We had a decent fish dinner near the port- there are hundreds of fishing boats bringing in tons of fish every day…pity the future fish stocks… I don’t think I would return to El Jadida.

This riad is centrally located and easy to find. The staff made me feel as if I was the only guest. The hotel is non smoking and modern. The rooms are air conditioned. Breakfast was included and I had an easy walk to the fortified city.

Super cadre somptueux et discret a la fois . Excellent service professionnel Le personnel Est la pluvalue de ce riad, sourire, gentillesse, disponibilite efficacité. Cuisine marocaine traditionnelle mettant en valeur la richesse culinaire marocaine. Excellent massage .
