Sheraton Miramar Resort El Gouna

I rarely give bad reviews, but I just can't help it! I wouldn't book this hotel if I could avoid it. The pool is incredibly small. I came here for the beach, but I could only look at the ocean, not swim. The sand was very harsh on my feet, and the water was extremely murky. And most importantly, the food was awful! It was inedible!!! The only edible items for breakfast and lunch were fried eggs and fruit! The staff, except for the front desk, were awful! Especially the cleaning lady. She knocked on the door like an earthquake. Even though we had the Do Not Disturb (DND) button on, she still insisted. When I opened the door, I told her to come back at 2 p.m., which got me a couple of glares. She also didn't clean for us on the last two days! There was no toothpaste or toothbrush, and slippers were only provided on the first day. When we checked in, we only had one bath towel each day, so we had to call the front desk every day to get more...

The lake view is a joke. The lake is just a small bubble. The balcony is blocked by a tree. Like other reviews, there is a certain degree of discrimination, but most of the staff are friendly, although this is what they should do. I wanted to pay extra to upgrade the sea view, but the one we were shown was just a slightly larger bubble. The staff told me that this was the best sea view room, but I didn't upgrade it in the end. The swimming pool is open very late and closes very early. If you want to go to the sea, this hotel is completely unnecessary. The food is not even as good as the 100 yuan buffet in China. You basically eat bread to fill your stomach. We gave a US dollar as a tip for the luggage, but the other couple didn't have change and gave 10 Egyptian pounds, which was a very bad attitude. This kind of thing shouldn't happen to a five-star hotel. It is recommended to pay extra to choose a better all-inclusive hotel, or a regular all-inclusive. If you want to save money or don't have time to stay in the hotel when you go to the sea, just choose a cheap one in the city. It's not convenient to travel here. Finally, we checked in. When we were leaving, the staff was very nice. I forgot to ask his name. When he saw us carrying our luggage, he kept apologizing to me and told me that they should arrange a shuttle bus to pick us up. The staff at the beach and the pool were also very nice. When we wanted to go swimming after the sun went down, the staff at the beach told me that the sea was very dangerous after the sun went down and joked that there would be sharks. The staff at the pool patiently told me that the pool was closed and needed to be disinfected, which would hurt my eyes. Overall, it was really not worth the price.
