Hotel Poincenot

We are incredibly happy with our 5nights stay at Poincenot! I had forgotten that we booked a twin bedroom so at check in, I was asking if they have a room with double beds instead, without really hoping for too much. The lady at reception actually went above and beyond, walked up and down & checked a few rooms for us, although in the end we needed to take the twin room which was fine. Breakfast was great everyday, not too much option but can get your morning going for sure. What I loved most was the housekeeping! They turned our bed down daily, kept our room nice and clean which was a joy to come back to after a long day hike. We put the twin beds together and the next day when we returned, they made it a double bed by adding some extra mattress, what a star! I would highly recommend this place - though it’s a bit of a walk from the bus station but you will be surrounded by restaurants and shops anyway.

This hotel was gross and disgusting. They lost power and water throughout the day. The do not keep the property clean at all. There were flies flying throughout the breakfast that they offered. The front desk staff were very rude and unhelpful. The rooms also smell like mold and are very small. The WiFi did not work during our stay.

This hotel was really gross. There were flies flying around the breakfast food and the rooms smell like mold. The front desk staff (Julieta and Oriana) were not friendly at all. They were not accommodating or knowledgeable of the area at all and provided very little help or assistance.

Decent clean hotel, it's pretty new by the looks of it. Comfy enough bed, would have liked it a bit more firm. Room and bathroom clean. As we're right next to two main Hiking Trails' entrance, there's quite a bit of street noise due to late hikers or just the general noise in this hiking tourism town. Breakfast is pretty basic with continental and some scrambled eggs with bacon strips. WiFi is very slow and at times no Internet at all. It's pretty much the whole town am told. Certainly, my local Movistar line is just as bad.

I liked this hotel it was clean and had everything you need like a comfy bed bathtub/shower towels shampoo and breakfast A lot of great hikes start just a few 100 meters away The WiFi was not great but I have been told it’s actually nowhere really in El Chalten The best thing about the hotel was the very friendly staff. We were mostly cared for by a Young women who spoke perfectly English (that was great for me as I don’t speak Spanish)
