Rooms were super comfortable and clean! Awesome view. Very friendly staff. It’s a bit of a walk from the city center 15 minutes or so but really excellent spot. Awesome staff that have very helpful suggestions and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend

We stayed in 3 different places in Patagonia (El Calafate and El Chalten) and this was by far our best experience. The apartment suites are large, clean, modern and well provisioned. The restaurant on site was great food (including a free welcome drink for all guests, i highly recommended the peach/orange juice with rum or without, both great). The staff was very helpful. My only comment of concerns is to say that Tripadvisor did not let me book 1 suite for 5 people even though there was room for 6 people in each of the 2 suites we got. So we actually could have just had 1 suite for all of us, and wasted $ unnecessary due to jow Tripadvisor list thigs. This is a Tripadvisor problem so I highly recommend booking directly with Tierra Tehuelche as thier staff are more knowledgeable and will get you exactly what you want, Tripadvisor booking was generally a bad way to go in Patagonia for all 3 of the places we stayed, as the advertising of what the accommodations actually look like are out of date, erroneous and confusing.

Rooms have views to garbage mounds and construction sites (see photos). Food is among the worst I ever had in a hotel. It looks like an improvised lodging with roads without asphalt (just dust and some stones). Cold and crappy feel overall. I envied people staying in nearby places. Rooms don't have smart TV so I couldn't mirror screen or watch Netflix. Walk to town feels like a walk through a building site.

Expect walking distances to city center, other than that, living here for several days are great. Design is neat. Room is clean and stuff is accommodated.
