"If one wants to visit the El Arenal Area of Palma de Mallorca, the Hotel has the ideal location. It is easy to reach by Bus A51 (only two stops from the Airport), which already departs at 5 a.m. in the morning on the way back and therefore making it possible to reach flights departing at 6:30 a.m. without the need of an otherwise expensive Taxi.
10 minutes stroll to the beach.
Receptionist on duty was from Austria, therefore she spoke, besides Spanish and English of course, fluent German - which is quite common in Palma.
The room was big and clean with a comfortable bed and a powerful A/C, but the walls are really thin. One can hear everything that is going on in other rooms as well as outside."

"The service and food were good for the price, plenty of choice and fresh. The location of the hotel is almost directly on the beach, but it is difficult to find a parking space nearby. The balcony from the room had a partial sea view. Recommended for a cheap stay in Arenal."

"Is seemed to be a good value for money. You have general cleanliness, relative closeness to the beach, decent selection of food, nice personnel.
Fantastic view from the rooftop bar.
The way from the beach back to the hotel is upwards with a staircase involved, so might not suit everyone.
The food is tasty, the amount of alcohol allowed (3 glasses of wine or beer at lunch and dinner) is enough.
Would recommend this hotel."

"The Hostal Tierramar in El Arenal in Mallorca was a really positive surprise. It overcomes my expectations clearly: the cleanness of the hotel was exemplary, which was directly apparent. The hotel was very comfortable and very helpful, making the stay very pleasant. I can recommend this Hostal to anyone who wants to enjoy a careless and relaxing holiday."

"The soundproofing is non-existent. You can hear the noises downstairs and in the corridor clearly in the middle of the night. In the early morning, the room next door is noisy and knocks on the door, but no one cares. In addition, although the hotel has air conditioning, there is no remote control. When to turn it on and off depends on the mood of the owner. You may wake up in a sweat early the next morning."

"I was shocked that at a five-star hotel, such an unacceptable incident could occur.
We had a deeply disturbing experience during our stay. Around 9:30 AM, someone from the property unlocked and opened both our front door and bedroom door without any prior notice, permission, or request from us. We were still asleep when this happened. We did not request housekeeping and there was no sign indicating otherwise.
This was a serious breach of privacy and made us feel unsafe and disrespected. Such behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable in any accommodation setting, let alone a serviced apartment."
