The hotel is really good value for money. Reception area is clean and managed 24 hours a day. The pool at the front of the building was clean but really bit bug enough for the hotel, there was an outside bar but this was closed during our stay bit disappointing as your bot allowed ro bring drinks from outside. There is 2 lifts which are a little outdated and really slow. Our room was on the 7th floor and again was quite spacious, cleaned every day and fresh towels every day, the shower always had lots of hot water. The restaurant isnsituated in the basement of the hotel, again fairly big, but not sure how it copes peak season. Good selection of buffet style food, always well stocked, even Paella was offered... There is a small bar which serves, water, beer and bottles of wine so not much selection but again adequate enough. .The breakfast again lots of choice, and a chef cooking eggs in abundance, the only downfall was all of the "hot" food was stone cold and yiu had to use the microwave. The restaurant staff were really good and very quick at cleaning tables and keeping the area clean. The best part of this hotel is the rooftop pool, and bar which was open from 10am, this was immaculate and the bar staff really good. The view of the sunsets were absolutely amazing. The location Is about a 10 minute walk to the main beach..

I visited this Hotel with my daughter for a short break of 4 nights which we were really looking forward too. After reading the reviews we chose HSM Son Very as trip advisor score was 4.5. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE !! Our room view was a brick wall. The sliding door to our balcony was broke and when locked could still open. We went to reception to ask if we could change rooms. The staff were VERY rude and said no and that the hotel was full and was told we should of paid for a sea view. The safety deposit cost was 18 euros for 4 nights with 3 euros returned at the end of the stay. Our deposit box worked for two days and then would not open ( it had our cash in) When we reported this to a lady on reception she was also Very rude and unhelpful and said she would get maintenance to sort it. There was no communication when this was done , and they took the key so we only had access to it for two days and no money was refunded or the deposit returned. The room was basic , no kettle and we were only given hand towels to use which were tiny. A lovely cleaner on our second day gave a bigger towel but after this only beds were made and room floor was not cleaned. The electric kept tripping in the room. The balcony light came on automatically and could not be switched off, this was on all night and was very bright shinning into our room as curtains would not fully close. Pools were freezing and dirty. I have never stayed in such an awful hotel and really cannot believe the 4.5 rating on trip advisor. The staff are extremely rude on the reception and very unhelpful. I have never given a bad review before but felt the issues warranted this. I00 per cent we would not recommend this hotel On a positive The area was busy with lots of bars and restaurants with friendly staff within a short walk down a hill and had a beautiful sandy beach.

The hotel location is its best feature, about a 5 minute walk from the beach with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel staff were friendly, but needed more of them around during dinner time. Food choice for dinner was a bit samey each night but nice tasting and good quality. Now with desserts, i cannot stress this enough- the desserts are the best I've ever had hands down. You will eat your own body weight in cakes and pastries if you're not careful. Room wise You have to pay for a safe in your room which is something I've never experienced before. The same goes for the TV, you have to put a deposit down on that. I didnt have a kettle in mine either which i would class as standard. Rooms are quite basic, but kept clean, beds are ok. Beware if you have a room overlooking the pool it is quiet loud. People who seem to love to shout after a few too many beer's and road noise from passing cars will wake you up in the night. Of course this isnt the hotels fault though. Breakfast selection is pretty good, needs more fruit options in my opinion. Overall this is an above average hotel, there's nothing particularly bad, it just needs some improvements here or there.

Really beautiful rooms with a nice sea view, also a nice view of the sunset. Really good dinner option you always have an option to chose from. Generally a good hotel, only complaint would be the lift. Its like waiting for the bus especially around breakfast or dinner
