Melio Hotel Eilat

We've never stayed in that part of the city and were pleasantly surprised to find such a pleasant and basic hotel at an affordable rate. It was only one night and a nice clean room was just what we needed. There's a minibar and kettle in the room and also free coffee and water at the lobby. The staff was nice, especially Aya the housekeeping manager.

I do not recommend this hotel as the room has a strange smell I have visited there 2 times before and it was ok - good value compared to the price but this time I was very disappointed- the rooms simply smell bad Other then that the room size is ok , again good value for the money

I am from America and came to Israel to visit my son and his family. We went to Eilat for one day and choose this hotel because it was budget friendly. There were 5 adults and 1 baby. Our room had two beds, each bed in its own room with a door. One room had a bed and a small cot. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom ( shower and toilet) is small but clean. There was plenty of hot water in the shower. Although the shower does have doors, if you aren’t careful, water will get everywhere. The air conditioner works nice snd that’s important espresso in July. I would stay here again.

Basic room. Very few power outlets. The management doesn’t trust customers with a blow dryer. The hair dryer is kept at the front desk and you must ask for it and get it each time you use it and return it after each use. To add another insult the bathroom does not have a dryer outlet. There is no power outlet by a mirror which means there u Is no way to watch what you are doing. Front office staff unpleasant and unhelpful. The only pro of this hotel is that it is clean. Don’t expect any amenities.

Location average. Not walking distance to major pedestrian sights of beach front. They keep a blow dryer at the front desk and you have to ask for it and return it after using. There is no outlet in the bathroom for the hair dryer or by any mirror. I had to use my computer on video recording so I could see how to blow dry my hair. Who would want to steal a big heavy blow dryer so I don’t understand why the rooms don’t come equipped. The bottom level we were on had an emergency exit that was locked from the inside. In case of fire we did not have an exit to use. When we arrived the front desk was unhelpful about parking when we found the street barricaded to get to the back hotel parking area. A very c’est la vie attitude. Pros are that the hotel is clean and they clean every day with fresh towels. The sheet was old and had nubs which made it a rough feel. This is a very basic hotel.
